everyone seems a bit on edge about the whole unlocking thing so i figured i would have a little fun with the battery stats. i have had an htc incredible, incredible 2, the S3 , my wife has the S4 and now i have the note 3. i have rooted all of the devices and placed setcpu on them, typically with custom operating systems....clean rom mostly...i like it =) i recently found the qualcomm batteryguru software and paired it with a minimum 760mhz on setcpu...we were out of town and i forgot my charger...not like the wife didnt have one but i wanted to have a bit of fun 
so i never charged it. sure, i didnt use it much, i think there was about 2 hours of total actual screen time. but we sent some txts, emails, checked maps and chrome a bit...i was extremely impressed with the battery life!!!
about the unlocking....it will come, just be patient. some phones take a while if i remember correctly. others are nailed in a few hours.
