this sucks! We have one of the best phones out there concerning the hardware, but software-wise we're stuck.
Can't we do a fund raising to pay the developer(s) to manage to open the boot loader somehow? I'd kick in 20 US-$

There is no option for it. Only Huawei is capable to do this.
