Samsung is well-know for their closed-source and poor hardware-optimized ROMs, i thinks you should try OOS port and any AOSP, if you like cartoon look ui like samsung, why not stick with miui?

Samsung's UI is really poorly optimized....and is closed source
Do u guys actually used the ONE UI? Samsung's software was way too bloated in TOUCHWIZ days, now a days it got a lot better and in few ways feature rich(comparing to stock or AOSP with bare mimimum features for a phone).
Source: I own a POCO now, but also borrow friend's S9 occasionally.

OneUI is heaps beyond touchwiz or samsung experience ui. I have the s8 plus with the 3rd beta of One UI and it feels and looks great. I like how reachable the items are with just a hand.

Porting is different from being phone's native OS. You gotta read more about custom development.

Or just buy a Samsung device.
