APX Mode isn't Acer property, nvflash too.
After fresh reboot and "dmesg | grep androidboot.serialno" to get my cpu id, SBCalc generate a SBK, and seems to be valid.
Can we use nvflash and sony's patched bootloader
Will try to boot in APX mode and exec "nvflash --bl bootloader.img --sbk (my SBK) --sync"

I just bought my second Tablet S on eBay, and it came w/ 4.0.3 (release 5a) already installed.

Am I SOL in terms of rooting this tablet? :crying:

I hate my Tablet S right now....

I tried a thousand ways to upgrade it but it does not work..... ARGH

I wanted to install "NEW R5A WiFi only! doubleFLASH!"
via "AiO - choose '3' & '4' - Flash signed zip, choose automatic."

I use a german Tablet S rooted (Android 4.0.3, Kernel 2.6.39.4 [email protected] #1, Build Nummer TISU0077700) but changed the region to US today.
After that I tried the method above (and many more....) but all I get is the message "Prohibit Update as a result of checking version or base sku"

I also tried to sign the update (and some other files) but it does not work either...

Does anyone have some tips for me ?

I flashed with the" flasher tool " and everything worked.
