For those wanting a killer case for your HD7, I had a VAJA case for my HD2 (www.vajacases.com) and I was curious about the HD7. Well, it fits perfectly and coincidentally, the volume buttons etc are fine due to the design of the HD2 case.

It ain't cheap, but if you want the slickest case (ok, assuming you can tolerate a flip case vs. just a sleeve style), the vaja is perfect...expensive but perfect!

Please, can you tell us what's about the camera buton ? because as I have an iMagnum Piel Frama for my ex-HD2 (Vaja took too long to produce their i-Volution HD2, and it appears that's going to be the same for HD7), I tried on my HD7, on one part it was a little too tight, and more important, no access to the camera button and most part of the back speaker covered.

From what I see on the Vaja site, it seems to be the same .

So, if you can tell us how it is on the Vaja case (and also if you're speaking about the ivolution top sp case ?), thanks :)

I also wanted to buy a great quality and stylish case for a sexy phone :) But I wanted to go for the Piel Frama one (which doesn't come out untill next year according to a mail I got from them). It seems P.F. are giving more attention to the details like buttons and speakers etc.

Sorry for double posting but you please provide some more info on the case? Comparing the sizes

HD2 120.5 x 67 x 11 mm
HD7 122 x 68 x 11.2 mm

there are some smalll diferences. Besides the volume rocker do you have acces to the other buttons ? Lock/USB/3.5 jack ? I am very interested in buying one since I don't know when Piel Frama are going to release their take on HD7.

Some more info please

As I had a Piel Frama and a Vaja case , I can tell you that Vaja is really better in quality , and access to buttons and speakers are ok .

I've bought a Piel Frama for my HD2 only because a Vaja one was not available .

For the Vaja HD2 case to use with the HD7, I won't buy one, because looking at the pictures, the cuts for speakers (front, back), the access to camera button are not ok at all . So I'll wait 'til Vaja made an ivolution case for the HD7 .

So you say you don't have access to the camera and besidesnyhat are there any problems ? How are the lock and volume rocker ? I've read that the you can press yhe buttons eveb through the vaja case that being some kind of design feature. And tbh the Piel Frama looks like it moght interfere with the promixity sensor. An extended mini review would be great !

I guess there is misunderstood : actually I just have a Piel Frama for my HD2, and it's not ok for my HD7 ; and looking on the Vaja site at the iVolution HD2 case, show that it's not appropriate for HD7 , because you can't access camera button, and almost half of the back speakers are covered . And certainly it's too tight for HD 7 (same as my Piel Frama), and with this type of case you can't access the buttons through the case
So, for me, no way, I won't buy this Vaja HD2 ivolution case for my HD7 ; at this price I want a case designed for HD7.

So, I'll wait ...

ps : I had yet Vaja iVolution cases for different smartphones, and that's why I can tell you that Vaja is really superior in quality.

Sorry I misunderstood indeed and I get the picture now.

So I took a leap of faith and bought the Vaja case with the option of returning for any reason I wanted and boy I did make a good decision. Thr case indeed fits almost perfectly. The kickstand is obviously blocked but the speaker is 80% uncovered so there are basically no issues. Jack and volume rocker both perfect and I can even see the notification light. The only thing the HD2 might have better may be the closing mechanism but by.no means it's a pain on the HD7 and I only wear it for like 10 hours so I am sure with time it will loosen up. The only problem would be the camera button. I can feel it through the case but I don't think you can activate it. I didn't do my best anyway since I rarely use camera so it's not a dealbraker for me.
