Any G2 users moved to G4 - whats your thoughts?

Am fairly heavy user so main concern is will the battery life be on par or better than my G2 which is great...

I've had G2 and G4. The G4 imo is the sequel to the G2, the battery is as great as the G2. And the design is awesome with the leather back.

I've had the G2, the G3, and now the G4. The G2 had the best battery life of any phone I have EVER had. I think the G4's battery will be better than the G3, but not sure it will approach the G2 until after it's been rooted and tweaked. Of course, YMMV.

The switch should be a breeze. I didn't have the G2, but the G4's battery is replaceable, so you can get a bigger one. If it's an issue still, you can get portable chargers etc to keep it charged all the time.

How are you finding the size difference for g2 to g4? I'm using a g2, just been to a phone shop to try a g4 but difficult to judge when they have the security holders.

Well, I used a G3 and a nexus 6 in between the G2 and G4 so the G4 feels great coming from the 6. The G4 feels bigger than the G2, but it doesn't feel huge. It's a really comfortable device imo.

I switched from G2 to G4 about a month ago and didn't miss the G2 a single second. The slightly bent shape makes it far more comfortable to wear in the rear pocket, the battery is at least equal to the G2's - if not better..

FYI, I had the G2, G3 and now the G4 and you notice it for sure for the first few days. after than I would have a hard time going back. and the battery life would rate g2, g4 and then g3 from best to worst.

Had a LG G4 for a week, at the time when my LG G2's charging port was repaired.

When G2 was fixed, i decided to sell G4.

Apart from camera, it really didn't feel any better than G2. It wasn't faster, battery was worse, especially with full brightness. Screen quality is about same and 0,3" screen size difference was too negligible for me (I wan't bigger screen for my next phone).
Couldn't root/unlock bl without permanent loss of warranty. I was missing custom kernels and roms. G2 can have now same UX 4.0 UI, thanks to Cloudy.

Not that LG G4 is bad phone, but I'm going to wait Note 5 or some SD820 phone with 5.7-6.0" screen and over 3500mAh battery, before i update my G2.
G4 just didn't felt like a big upgrade over G2
