That's what I thought at first. but more n more I am getting to know about the fact, it's actually a hardware issue and it's LG's fault, not users.

Yeah the poll can be misleading considering most people here are interested in some form of modding (root).

Again someone is getting wrong. It's not about modding. This thread is not about only those people who went to bootloop while flashing MM firmware, rather their device went into bootloop for no reason. In most cases of modding, there is a reverse way to recover because you know the reason. But where u don't know the reason what's causing the device in bootloop, what can u do? and this thread is to find out how many sufferers are there like this. got it now?

Hey man thanks for contributing to the thread. I am trying in many ways so that LG addresses the issue. If we all try, we can do that.
LG won't touch them if it's due to being modded. You take the risk by modifying your phone in any way. LG are under no obligation to fix any faults caused by those mods.

Fine but realise as the figures stand right now out of 23 votes just 7 were unrooted, the remainder were either rooted or bootloader unlocked.

30 (unrooted) 70 (rooted or BL unlocked)

More people will have to vote and we will see how those percentages change. Give it a month.
Update : after a week, out of 40 votes 10 were unrooted Therefore 25% unrooted affected. This is a drop from the 30-70 earlier.

leaving the rest at 75%

Those who are having bootloops...

What month was your device manufactured? You can check on the outside sticker on the original box (if you still have it)

Mine was made in May and i'm having this problem. I think there was a bad batch made shortly before release that had defects. Here are some others with the same problem with phones made in May

Yah mine was also in May. This device is so new that most of the devices are produced in May I guess. Then I guess how many people are vulnerable for bootloop problem. It's like a ticking timebomb, isn't it?

Got my phone in July 2015..
My phone suddenly boot looped yesterday while using google map navigation.
Was using rooted H815_V10E system image http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/development/h815-eu-l-p-t-sea-twn-t3176195 .
I went from original H815 sea 10a to OTA 10b to original H815 eu 10e kdz to rooted H815 eu 10e system image.
I dropped the phone at least 20times?
I installed original xposed apk on my phone but it says it wasnt supported around 1 month ago from the app itself. I didnt do anything after that.
But yesterday , i click the uninstall button in xposed app in the morning and phone suddenly boot looped in the afternoon. Download mode works , kdz original sea 10b, still boot loop. Tried to kdz original eu 10e , but download mode didnt work , hard brick
did u find anny solution yet??

I just got off the phone with LG. I told them I went through all trouble shooting with T-Mobile (up to a factory reset) and said I'm still getting them. Since it's within 15 months of manufacture date, I can send it in for repair. I'd take advantage of that if you have no other options... So it looks like i'll be sending mine in. Good luck!

What I have found out to work for me is to, flash the kdz and wipe the data at the same time. When flashing the kdz via LG flash tools, use the CSE flash NOT the Normal flash.
