Here's a guide to installing Xposed framework (No unlocked bootloader or custom recovery is needed, just root!)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=62397758&postcount=606

AT TIME OF THIS POST UPDATE - NEITHER H818P nor H818N SUPPORT **SIMULTANEOUS** 3G/4G CONNECTIONS ON BOTH SIMS AT THE SAME TIME. ONE SIM ONLY! Keep reading below.

CONFIRMED:* H818P Does not work on Band 28 (700Mhz)... only Band 17. This has been confirmed by LG UAE. See my post here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=62204877&postcount=533

* May 2015: LG announce at least two G4 *DUAL SIM* phones to be released with their latest flagship single-sim model to be released simultaneously (or within 1 month) after most market single-SIM release dates. The 2 most common models areH818P (Ukraine, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, UAE)] and the H818N (Hong Kong, China)

* (CONFIRMED) H818P model supports 3G/4G data connection on SIM1...It is ALSO supported on SIM2 (provided SIM 1 is set to 'GSM only' (or vice versa). It can be a bit tricky for some to get it working, here's how to do it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=61621397&postcount=165 You can also see the functionality for BOTH sims from a user screenshots HERE: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=61115881&postcount=49

* (CONFIRMED) H818N model supports 3G/4G data connection on BOTH SIM1 & SIM2. Thanks to @Neutrality here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=61674683&postcount=188 If you cannot enable LTE/4G on SIM 2, you are likely using an old software version (v10c or earlier) meaning you will need to access the hidden menu from the dialler. Open the phone dialler, type in 277634#*# suggested by @Syrop on page 18. who STEPS you through activation: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=62100690&postcount=460. If you have v10d, the option to choose 3G/4G on SIM2 should be readily available in normal menus. See @kanzone s post here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=62307988&postcount=572 and the one above it.

* Out of box, wireless charging is NOT supported on DUAL SIM models, as SIM2 is roughly in the position where the contact pins are. NFC capability is retained.

* H818P supports 4G LTE band 17 which is 700Mhz (not not Australia/NZ and other band 28 countries on 700Mhz). H818N does not support 700. @bahamot_zero confirms on page 2 with sticker/box image: Same with @Icewanted page 4
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=61010603&postcount=19 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=61055401&postcount=34

* H818P USER MANUAL - LG OFFICIAL (English from page 367 onwards), 34MB PDF:

Do you know the 4G frequencies for the H818P? I thought 1800,2100 and 2600.

Yes that much we know from the GSM Arena website, but not even that is all too comforting, especially when you consider this website and their presumptions on supported bands:

http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=8051&view=1&c=lg_g4_h818p_lte-a_lg_p1

What you are forgetting is the other dual SIM model ... the H818P? On LG's UAE website, so such specsw are even listed!

Does anyone know of the G4 dual sim (HOPING it's compatible with 700MHz 4g LTE band FDD) is available to order yet from a reputable international seller, or is it still not available?

Thanks

If H818P users (UAE, Indonesia, Ukraine, Thailand etc) can post an IMAGE of their phone and the STICKER on the box confirming model number and compatable MHz bands, that would be appreciated.

Paulie72 I was under the impression vendors may start to receive this stock BY 28th May. Have you been told it will be in your HANDS by then?

I am in Saudi Arabia, and LG announced that it will provide H818P (2 SIM Slots) with 64GB Micro SD Card.

Well, I have to wait until June 6, until it is officially released.

I hope I can get it sooner.

    ROOT IN 10 STEPS!

I am borrowing most information/details from Team Codefire thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/orig-development/root-tmo-vzw-intl-variants-soon-root-lg-t3164765

    Source files and contributors: Official credit goes to @Unjustified Dev , @thecubed , @autoprime , @actr0n , @somboons , @sriszone and @rtoh and @luongquang

I'm only posting this because this guide has worked for me and I wanted to share with the community SPECIFIC instructions, not generic for "all other" G4s and summarising 2-3 threads here in the one post:

    PREPARATION:

    (I) Read, read, read! Read EVERYTHING. Do it TWICE. Make sure each step is understood. MAKE SURE you have the right LG USB drivers, too

(II) To be on the safe side, I'd recommend 80% charge or more before attempting the following procedure.

(III) Download "LG Root" here: http://d-h.st/uO8h then Unzip and open the contents somewhere on your PC. Eg: Desktop. set aside for the procedure.

(IV) I take no official credit for root; just the "easy to follow" guide you are reading specifically designed for the H818P and H818N dual SIM phones. Hit the "THANKS" button if this has helped. It goes without saying, I take ZERO responsibility if you follow this guide and miss a step, a command and end up BRICKING your device. You assume all responsibility for turning your phone into a giant paperweight.

    INSTRUCTIONS:

STEP 1: Go to settings > Security > Encryption. **MAKE SURE** Encryption is TURNED OFF. If you've never encrypted your phone before, do not worry and continue to STEP 2.

STEP 2: Go to Settings > About Phone > Software Information and tap build number until you are presented with "You are now a developer". if you've already done this before - just Exit back to SETTINGS main screen; in Developer Options enable USB Debugging

STEP 3: Download the relevant system .IMG file for your phone (It's zipped, so unzip it to your PC. Eg: Desktop). It shouldn't matter...but may I suggest downloading the SAME system file you are currently using? If you are running v10c on your H818P, I'd get v10c for H818P:

If you have this phone/software running, please extract, inject root and POST it, I'll put it here!

HAVE YOUR OWN 818P/818N .IMG? POST IT HERE AND I'LL UPDATE!
NOTE: I can't/won't be manually rooting your stock IMG file rips. If you need to know RIP or create your own G4 stock .IMG file from your phone, see @somboons video tutorial here: https://youtu.be/M4s6wrpD2Gk

STEP 4: Move the resulting "system.rooted.phonemodel.img" file to the root of your phone's internal storage (not external SD card) with MTP mode. **DO NOT** RENAME this file, or move it into any folders!

STEP 5: Once this has been done, POWER OFF your phone normally and disconnect from PC. After LED stops blinking (OFF properly), Hold the UP VOLUME key and re-insert the USB cable from your PC to your phone. If done correctly, you should see DOWNLOAD MODE in small font in middle of the screen. it will then display another screen with text: FIRMWARE UPDATE (a USB logo) a warning to not unplug and a status bar at 0%.

STEP 6: On a windows PC, Start a command prompt (Start > Run > cmd) and navigate to the unzipped contents folder of LG Root from STEP 3. If you don't know how to run command or understand it **STOP HERE** and google HOW TOs, as the wrong commands or lack of understanding/ignorance may hinder the process! (On my PC, the command prompt line after navigation to my unzipped folder looks like C:\Users\RoOSTA\Desktop\LG_Root\ ). Put this window aside for a moment...

STEP 7: Let's verify the COM port your phone is connected to. Find the LG Root tools you downloaded in PREPARATION. Go into the folder and double click the file "ports.bat". Look for the COM number that corresponds to "DIAG1". **WRITE DOWN / REMEMBER THE COMM PORT NUMBER!** Let's assume it's COM4. Click any key/exit this window now...

STEP 8: Let's continue now where we left off - following on from STEP 7 (in the command window where we see something similar to: C:\Users\RoOSTA\Desktop\LG_Root\ ) Here, copy/paste or type this command MAKING SURE THE RIGHT COMM NUMBER IS ENTERED: Send_Command.exe \\.\COM4

STEP 9: You should see Author: blog.lvu.kr and SPECIAL COMMAND : ENTER, LEAVE on 2 lines followed by a hashtag (#). If you are up to this point, type id and press ENTER

STEP 10: You should get back some text starting with "uid=(0)root gid=(0)root". If not, press CTRL-C, and repeat STEP 8 again (The application sometimes doesn't respond on the first command). If it worked for you, from here run the command below (copy/paste next to the # and press ENTER). NOTE: Only copy/paste the **CORRECT** code from the list below.

If you've done this correctly, as soon as you've pressed ENTER, you'll see a blinking cursor, probably for a few minutes. Basically the pre-rooted system image you are FLASHING to your phone is being written, so it may take a few minutes. When complete, you should see #. If you see this, it's DONE! Type LEAVE and press ENTER. Your phone should then restart... Once it's rebooted and you'd like to verify, download ROOT CHECKER from the Play store, run the app and verify. Here's mine, it worked!

    ScreenHunter_94%20Jul.%2028%2019.12.jpg

    IMPORTANT AND DON'T FORGET:
    1. If you haven't done so already, disable OTA. Don't update until we know it's safe so your ROOT isn't affected thttp://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/disable-ota-t3131493
    2. if you are wondering - YES, you can now delete the .IMG file from the root location on your G4, once you've completed STEP 10 (the whole process), completely, there's no need for the file there to take up space.

Use this code in STEP 10 (same code for ALL other system files, just make sure our FILENAME matches!)
    dd if=/data/media/0/NAME-OF-ROOTED-IMAGE-FILE.img bs=8192 seek=55296 count=529920 of=/dev/block/mmcblk0

If using your OWN system IMG file (one not in this thread), you basically need to MAKE SURE your system IMG file **matches** what is listed in the CODE above. You'll notice 10e and 10d above are basically identical codes with DIFFERENT FILE NAMES! That's the only change you need to make using your own file/s

FYI you can follow this video on Youtube to get the same result, but NOTE: ***THE FILES NEEDED / COMMANDS ARE DIFFERENT***
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZM-zTi3eAA

While ROOT is not yet support (SO DONT USE THESE FILES BELOW TO ROOT!) You can get Android Marshmallow ROMS for H818. *BIG* thanks @AmGaD-SaLaH

How to install Xposed framework on DUAL SIM!

**NOTE** and **REMEMBER** I, nor any other member credited in this thread take ANY responsibility if you BRICK YOUR phone! Again, you do this at your own risk!

This guide was thrown together based on information from the following people: @tabp0le , @Chainfire , @romracer and @rovo89 + all other devs responsible for bringing us Xposed!

Please hit the "Thanks!" button ont his post if this has helped you. Also, I'd appreciate the OP (post #1) be "Thanked" as well...it's been updated and refined for you, after all!

    PREPARATION:

    1) Download the following files:
    a) This file, or whatever the LATEST VERSION of SDK22 ARM64 version of Xposed: xposed-v74-sdk22-arm64-by-romracer-20150911.zip here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/super-alpha-posted-permission-xposed-t3072979
    b) This file: XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4 here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3383776&d=1435601440
    c) ON YOUR PHONE: Search for & install [root] Flashfire (by chainfire) from Playstore. You'll need v0.20 or v0.21 of the app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.chainfire.flash&ah=bC3qYEyuj-molYGD0kcf68coIng

    2) Make sure your phone is fully charged. Copy over the 2 downloaded files over to your phone (anywhere, suggest phones main root location)

    3) Before performing this method, disconnect phone from any cable or charger and here...we...go!

    4) If your phone DOES NOT HAVE ROOT successfully installed, then DO NOT PROCEED!

    ------------------------

STEP 1: Browse to and open [root] Flashfire on your phone

STEP 2: Tap the {+} button. Then "Flash .zip/OTA"

STEP 3: Navigate to xposed-v71-sdk22-arm64-by-romracer-20150816.zip file on your phone, wherever you copied it to and tap on it

STEP 4: If presented with an option "auto mount" DO NOT select it. No need to. Just hit the tick button above and you will return back to the main screen on [root] Fashfire

STEP 5: Scroll down, or if you can see te FLASH button in red with a lightning bolt, tap that. If done correctly, your screen goes BLANK (black).

    DON'T WORRY! This is normal.

I personally had to wait 9 minutes (at least) until my screen turned back on with "Loading..." showing up in the middle of th screen and then a CRAP LOAD of file names/paths unzipping and scrolling in the background. Just let it do its thing... the screen will go blank (black) again for ~7 minutes. A recovery screen pops up with some text at the bottom...then phone AUTOMATICALLY RESTARTS.

The LG boot logo should show up for a few moments on my phone...then "Android is starting" with auto optimization taking place, where all your apps are optimised (This can take several minutes, depending on how many apps you have installed).

STEP 6: If your phone boots successfully, navigate to your favourite file explorer app (such as Root Explorer) to the location you copied
XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4 file to. Tap on it to install (if you can't you need to go to settings and allow installation of apps from unknown sources). It will install almost instantly. Navigate to the Xposed app icon and open...you're done!

Enjoy downloading certain dev files from within the Xposed app! Note: NOT ALL apps are supported, so be smart and install either (a) something you know works on this phone already, or (b) Go to the OP's support thread and see if it will work before downloading it! Better to be safe than sorry, right? Here's a list of apps working on the latest version (at time of this post UPDATE):

Please hit the "Thanks!" button ont his post if this has helped you. Also, I'd appreciate the OP (post #1) be "Thanked" as well.

    Rooting Guide ,
    Thanks to @ roosta (ONLY Lollipop 5.x V10K / V10L)
download the root files from his post or the edited version from here
STEP 1: Move the resulting "system.rooted.phonemodel.img" file to the root of your phone's internal storage (not external SD card) with MTP mode. **DO NOT** RENAME this file, or move it into any folders!

STEP 2: Once this has been done, POWER OFF your phone normally and disconnect from PC.

STEP 3: On a windows PC, Start a command prompt (Start > Run > cmd) and navigate to the unzipped contents folder of LG Root from STEP 3.

STEP 4: Let's verify the COM port your phone is connected to.

STEP 5: Let's continue now where we left off - following on from STEP 7 ,RUN Root.exe File , copy/paste or type this command MAKING SURE THE RIGHT COMM NUMBER IS ENTERED: Send_Command.exe \\.\COM4

STEP 6: You should see Author: blog.lvu.kr and SPECIAL COMMAND : ENTER, LEAVE on 2 lines followed by a hashtag (#). If you are up to this point, type id and press ENTER

STEP 7: You should get back some text starting with "uid=(0)root gid=(0)root". If not, press CTRL-C, and repeat STEP 8 again (The application sometimes doesn't respond on the first command). If it worked for you, from here run the command below (copy/paste next to the # and press ENTER). NOTE: Only copy/paste the **CORRECT** code from the list below.

Step 8: Use this code for Rooting 10K / 10L upwards [Not Marshmallow]
    dd if=/data/media/0/rootedsystem.img bs=8192 seek=55296 count=529920 of=/dev/block/mmcblk0
