H818P / H818N IS ROOTED!
It works and it's pretty safe...jsut follow the steps and READ everything!

AT TIME OF THIS POST UPDATE - NEITHER H818P nor H818N SUPPORT **SIMULTANEOUS** 3G/4G CONNECTIONS ON BOTH SIMS AT THE SAME TIME. ONE SIM ONLY! Keep reading below.

CONFIRMED:* H818P Does not work on Band 28 (700Mhz)... only Band 17. This has been confirmed by LG UAE. See my post here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=62204877&postcount=533

* May 2015: LG announce at least two G4 *DUAL SIM* phones to be released with their latest flagship single-sim model to be released simultaneously (or within 1 month) after most market single-SIM release dates. The 2 most common models areH818P (Ukraine, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, UAE)] and the H818N (Hong Kong, China)

* (CONFIRMED) H818P model supports 3G/4G data connection on SIM1...It is ALSO supported on SIM2 (provided SIM 1 is set to 'GSM only' (or vice versa). * (CONFIRMED) H818N model supports 3G/4G data connection on BOTH SIM1 & SIM2. Thanks to @Neutrality here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=61674683&postcount=188 If you cannot enable LTE/4G on SIM 2, you are likely using an old software version (v10c or earlier) meaning you will need to access the hidden menu from the dialler. Open the phone dialler, type in 277634#*# suggested by @Syrop on page 18. who STEPS you through activation: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=62100690&postcount=460. If you have v10d, the option to choose 3G/4G on SIM2 should be readily available in normal menus. * Out of box, wireless charging is NOT supported on DUAL SIM models, as SIM2 is roughly in the position where the contact pins are. NFC capability is retained.

* H818P supports 4G LTE band 17 which is 700Mhz (not not Australia/NZ and other band 28 countries on 700Mhz). H818N does not support 700. @bahamot_zero confirms on page 2 with sticker/box image: Same with @Icewanted page 4

Do you know the 4G frequencies for the H818P? I thought 1800,2100 and 2600.

Yes that much we know from the GSM Arena website, but not even that is all too comforting, especially when you consider this website and their presumptions on supported bands:

What you are forgetting is the other dual SIM model ... the H818P? On LG's UAE website, so such specsw are even listed!

Does anyone know of the G4 dual sim (HOPING it's compatible with 700MHz 4g LTE band FDD) is available to order yet from a reputable international seller, or is it still not available?

Paulie72 I was under the impression vendors may start to receive this stock BY 28th May. Have you been told it will be in your HANDS by then?

I am in Saudi Arabia, and LG announced that it will provide H818P (2 SIM Slots) with 64GB Micro SD Card.

Well, I have to wait until June 6, until it is officially released.

I hope I can get it sooner.
