Unfortunately, official online stores don't ship to overseas and need a reservation before you can buy it. So, I asked my friends to buy it for me.

A Good new is now you don't need to make a reservation just walk-in to any stores and pay for it. You might be able to get it on Ebay few weeks later.
Right, I walk in and bought from TG at Thailand.

I purchased it from Thailand. I haven't got it yet and still wondering that which 700Mhz band is supported (B17 or B28).
This is the crucial thing that everyone has missed so far. Just because it states 700mhz, does not mean it is the BAND that you want.

As you mention the are 2 different bands that use 700mhz, B17 and B28.

For us Australians the B28 700mhz is the one we need

be nice to find out if the dual sim version supports B28 or not

Also, as a side not, i thought that i read somewhere that the H818N does not support 4g/LTE on both sims/only one sim. Where as the H818P does support 4G/LTE on both sims. Can anyone confirm this?

The Indonesian version (H818P) indeed supports 4G/LTE on both sims, but can only activate 4G/LTE on one sim at a time.

If the link mentioned is anything to go by at this pre-lim stage, it's both 17 and 28:
http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=8051&view=1&c=lg_g4_h818p_dual_sim_lte-a_lg_p1

From the H815 single SIM models, it specifically mentions the bands like so FDD LTE 700(B28)... but when we look at the box of the H818P, it just mentions FDD LTE 700/.../... etc - So to be 100% sure as oppoed to going off a spec sheet, you'd need to test it. But how? Np idea. Can anyone chime in?

Also, what you said about 818P/N models, 1 supports dual LTE, the other doesn't. strange? That's LG for you.

FYI - Countries that support 4G LTE (FDD) BAND 17: Antigua & Barbuda, Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Turks & Caicos Islands, Bolivia, Canada, Guam, Puerto Rico, USA. that, according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_LTE_networks

Ok for the guy who was asking for SharafDG and Lulu webstore. Definitely do not order from them as they are complete confused. They insist the H818P is single SIM only and their websites also reflect that.

Also can someone confirm that either SIM in H818P can be used with 4G. Expansys told me SIM2 is only 2G.

Hi. You have the phone in hand right? So you were able to verify that either SIM can use the 4G? That would clinch it for me....

Thanks for the screens.

EDIT: G4 users: We finally have ROOT on the H815 international single SIM model. Check General + H&T boards for the thread which will be stickied soon enough

About the size

Not sure about actual size being different but in practicality, I have both single and dual sim in my possession and I can swap the snap-on leather covers,...so perhaps the size difference is very small

Also notable is the H818N does not support Cat. 6 LTE and wireless charging, if any of those matter to you. Both models also differ very slightly in dimensions so it remains to be seen if accessories are compatible with each other.[/QUOTE]
