This is the crucial thing that everyone has missed so far. Just because it states 700mhz, does not mean it is the BAND that you want.
As you mention the are 2 different bands that use 700mhz, B17 and B28. For us Australians the B28 700mhz is the one we need

From the H815 single SIM models, it specifically mentions the bands like so FDD LTE 700(B28)... but when we look at the box of the H818P, it just mentions FDD LTE 700/.../... etc - So to be 100% sure as oppoed to going off a spec sheet, you'd need to test it. But how? Np idea. Can anyone chime in?
Also, what you said about 818P/N models, 1 supports dual LTE, the other doesn't. strange? That's LG for you.
