I could not manage to update my TWRP, it is still in version 3.0.0.0Updated from version 20.02.2017 to new version from 02.06.2017 (dirty flash). I can't root too. The zip-file from the link above also does't help...
Edit:
Follow the instructions in the first post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5-mini/general/guide-rooting-g800f-marshmallow-6-0-1-t3558915
--> Update to TWRP 3.0.2
--> Follow the instructions: "Procedure for getting root access"
Now i have root access again
While in TWRP > Install take a look to the lower right corner. There should be a button 'Install *.img' (or something similar). Try this one!i just could´t see the .img file from aykevl in twrp. trying to use adb also didn´t work. but I admit that I am a noob with respect to these things.
If I recall correctly, there is a button allowing you to switch between internal memory and external SD-Card. Have you seen and tried that option?i just could´t see the .img file from aykevl in twrp.
@bgsdeluxe:@hennymcc & Belp:
I completely wiped my device again just to reinstall latest version (lineageOS_20170602). Only difference: this time I used SuperSU file from henny's opening post instead of the version StanleyNL posted on page 92. Until now no flashing hardware buttons and back button is also doing its job. Unlock screen is working as supposed.
Btw.: In both cases I installed gapps micro.
@Belp: Did you also used the SuperSU file from StanleyNL?

1. Open settingsIs notification LED working with this ROM?
If yes, how can I configure it?
Thats the whole problem, this one doesnt work anymoreFor root I always would recommend that version from LOS download page, that fits perfectly to this rom:
https://download.lineageos.org/extras
What do you mean with it "doesn't work anymore"? You are not able to install it or your app is not granted root priviledges?Thats the whole problem, this one doesnt work anymore![]()
So make sure you used the 14.1 instead of the 13 addonsu-arm-signed.zip. Also check that you enabled root in the development settings (either root for apps or apps+adb).You have to download addonsu-arm-signed.zip for 14.1 from the Lineageos Extras download page and install it with TWRP.
After that root access is still disabled by default. If you want to activate root access for apps, do the following:
- Open the Settings menu, select "About Phone"
- Tap on the "Build number" entry seven times. You should be notified, that the developer settings are now active.
- Open the Settings menu, select "Developer options". Enable root access by selecting "Apps" in the "Root-Access" setting.
Make sure you have TWRP 3.0.2 installed. v3.0.0 might not be able to install the addonsu-arm-signed.zip.Thats the whole problem, this one doesnt work anymore![]()

I just checked it, works as before if you follow the steps from the opening post:

i installed a new version of twrp, which was posted here. But in twrp i see i still have 3.0.0.0Make sure you have TWRP 3.0.2 installed. v3.0.0 might not be able to install the addonsu-arm-signed.zip.
If you already tried another version of SuperSU, I would recommend to run addonsu-remove-arm-signed.zip before you try the one from opening post.

How to upgrade to TWRP v.3.0.2:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...uide-rooting-g800f-marshmallow-6-0-1-t3558915
[You have to click on 'Install img-file' on lower right corner in TWRP to be able to see the file]
Best of luck!
supersu.zip via Odin? I thought this should flashed in TWRP?@wogooo:
I also had the error 7 with my old TWRP v.3.0.0, but to be honest I can't remember to have the need to switch to 'Install img file'. As far as I know TWRP 3.0.0 was able to show all types of files on my external sd.
On v.3.0.2 you need to switch between flashing *.zip or *.img files.
But hennymcc recommends to flash SuperSU through ODIN. Did you already tried that way?
why should i switch from zip to img? i dont get it. The file addonsu-arm-signed.zip is a zip file..I also had the error 7 and struggled around with odin - instead of simply look at all options of twrp - you can switch from zip to img with the button in the bottom right corner...
Sorry - I messed up your question with the answer of bgsdeluxe....why should i switch from zip to img? i dont get it. The file addonsu-arm-signed.zip is a zip file..
