You're not interfering with running in background and keep awake? You're not using Greenify?

All have a sim card with rum 20170622
all OK over here, but my phone never really had any issues with the new enforcing kernel.... I'll try the newest midday also on my GFs phone which first had the SIM issue already with the 02-06 build - at this phone @mirhciulica solved it with his 05-06 build. I think we have to be more patient :fingers-crossed:
EDIT: everything is still fine at my GFs S5 mini

New build is available! (20170622)
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=817550096634781045

Notable changes:
- LineageOS sources updated
- Fixed LED in offline charging (thanks to @ayke)
I think there is a bug in the file explorer app. Everytime I delete a file I get an error message despite the fact that the file got deleted successfully. Can someone confirm this?

---------- Post added at 21:24 ---------- Previous post was at 21:10 ----------

Who runs the assembly 20170622 does not see the sim card
This bug is already being worked on. Maybe if you had read through the previous posts you would have noticed that.
Just deactivate SELinux or install a none enforcing Kernel. How? Which? Again: Read the previous posts or google it.
Sorry if I sound rude, but the last few days here in this thread this was the most discussed topic.

Ok...so....investigate and let me know ;) thank You!
Hi!
I think I found a possible drainage:
https://android.stackexchange.com/q...-battery-usage-shows-shows-huge-drain-from-it
After disabling this option (situated in Location) the "wifi running" stat inside BBS is going down. I'm not sure if that "drastically" improves battery life time because I found out about this just now and haven't tested it over a longer period.
I only wanted to let you know that I'm still on it and haven't forgotten about it. ;)

GPS accuracy

Anyone else noticed GPS accuracy isn't that great, compared to, let's say, the S4 mini? Not sure if it's ROM related though. I notice much more GPS spikes with my Runkeeper APP, than with the S4 mini. On both phones I also use(d) the "GPS Status" app, to always download most recent assisted GPS data...
Otherwise great stable ROM by the way! Thanks for the work!

I don't think that this will solve battery drain issues. I've never allowed Google to use WiFi for determining location (it just doesn't "feel right" to me in terms of privacy), but battery drain is one of my main issues with this ROM, along with its side effects (e.g. phone becoming terribly hot).

The other day I was scared that this overheating might have damaged my flash LED, because it wouldn't turn on any more (torch or camera flash), but it recovered eventually...

But the option I mentioned somehow keeps the "wifi running" even if geolocation is deactivated.

About the phone becoming hot: This sounds to me like a problem with the mediaserver. Do you often take photos? What camera APP do you use?
Try to use mediaserver killer the next time after you took a photo and see if the phone is getting hot again.

I had read about media server killer in this thread but haven't bothered with it so far. Next time the phone gets hot, I'll check whether the media server is in the list of apps that used a lot of battery.

Thanks,
Karsten
