Hi there is a new build:
Changelog:
- Fixed Youtube scaling issue on window resizing
- Compass fixed (thanks to mirhciulica for figuring out what's wrong)
- cpufreq config added
- Charge mode fixed (starts when plugging USB into a powered-off phone)
- USB-Tethering and Wifi SoftAP (Hotspot) fixed
- Camera doesn't crash when switching between camera and video (but might still crash sometimes)
- Fingerprint libs reverted from MM to LP (maybe that fixes the fingerprint issues - please test)
What a fantastic Update! I had some time today to test it and I can say that it's
the most stable and best custom rom for daily use that was ever made for the G800F (and I'm using it since the early stages of CM 12).
The
battery lifetime seems to be greatly increased with the new cpufreq config.
Fingerprint scanner is also working again with MM libs (not perfectly, but since the fingerprint scanner of the S5 Mini is not really valuable it could also be it's limitation.) The
choppy audio problem I mentioned in my previous post (
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=70872934&postcount=39) is also solved. Did you made any fixes for that? I don't think that it was just a lucky coincidence.

Now the only things that are
not working/fixed for me:
-
file manager can't access sd card: still not fixed by Lineage team. You can find the jira task with workaround here:
https://jira.lineageos.org/browse/BUGBASH-10
-
Wifi hotspot and tethering: Usually I've used WiFi hotspot for internet access on my Win 10 notebook. It was working on old CM13 builds. In the first Lineage release you got an error after activating the hotspot. Now it can be started again without errors and I can see the network on my notebook but I cannot connect to it. After that I tried bluetooth and usb-tethering. For bluetooth tethering my notebook could't find the device and usb-tethering always freezed my network settings on the notebook. Anyone else has issues with hotspot/tethering? I will investigate more into this anyway when I have more time.
Btw: I made a
clean install since LineageOS is in it's early stages and
@hennymcc made many changes under the hood. Please make sure you also did that before posting any issues. If you guys found more bugs or having updates to the mentioned ones I will update my post.
Update1: the
camera is still crashing after a while (can't connect to camera). After a restart it's working again (for a while).
