I have just flashed "lineage-14.1-20180817-UNOFFICIAL-kminilte.zip".
So far so good..

I just came across one problem with compass. It is very-very sluggish in many applications.
I use Sky Map to check stars in the sky.

Do you happen to know how to fix it?

I reverted back to Stock Rom, because even in lineage os 15.1 compass was not working properly...
Do someone know a custom rom where the compass is ok?

I don't know another custom ROM for this phone. Fo me this unofficial Lineage 14.1 is the best OS that I was using so far, so I won't give it away.
Regarding the compass problem I have the same problem on both of my G800F. I'm using the Satstat App (see F-Droid.org) to check position and compass orientation. After calibrating the compass by turning it serveral times around every axis it still does not give a useful direction. After observing it more closely I found that after calibration: when turning the phone on a flat surface by 360 degrees the North-pointer turns only by 270 degrees. So you must turn the phone four times by 360 degrees to make the North-pointer pointing again into the original direction.
For me this seems a wrong calibration factor somewhere in the calculation from the magnetic sensor data to the reading which is presented to the user.
As I'm not familiar with Android OS source code I hope that a real programmer might find a way to correct this obvious snag...

everything works great except video posting on Instagram. Once I try to post any video my phone restarts. I tried it on earlier builds as well as the latest one (24 sept). Does anyone know how to fix this?

I've already installed an older version of this rom. To upgrade to latest version released by panzerknakker, what I've to do? Same steps as Stock to ROM or there are different steps?

The best way is , start with a clean install and by the next Build you can dirty flash it with wipe cache and dalvik.

Ok successfully completed the upgrade
P.S.: PowerAmp 3 beta still not run with this rom. With LOS 15.x based rom instead it was working fine.

Was looking for substituton for stock rom, luckly found this one. ROM is awesome by first impression, light and smooth. Many thanks to devs!
Just one question - is there setting to change order of toggles in quick dropdown?

Yes, just tap on the edit (pen) button next to the settings button.

TWRP - current version? can not update or switch off signature verification?

I have tried this Lineage 14.1 ROM and also CM 13 -to verify the problem.
It is allways the same urgent problem in TWRP - Please HELP all you great people :fingers-crossed: - I am at the end of my rope:

Installation aborted.

Here some details:
I have applied ROMs (CM X... and Stock) to other devices a lot of times.
But now I can not get accross the following problem when Applying CM12.1 to G800F.
This time I used Odin 3.13.1 to apply a current TWRP 3.2.3 (I remember from a whil ago - that TWRP looked different ... I probably used the touch version back then).

? Can I shut off signature verification? (the text menus of TWRP 323 are extremely brief and I see no option; I tried to find an older version / touch version with perhaps this option ... no luck!!! .... also used odin to apply TWRP ... I thought maybe CWM would do the trick - but here too I did not find any links so far - and a version of CWM for Odin(?) to apply it to the device).
ANY LINKS to TWRP where I have the option to switch off Signature Verification???

Any other workarrounds with links???

I do not know how to shut off the signature check and I seem to be the only still using this device ... or maybe only I am having this problem?

I have successfuly upgraded from the 0817 version to lineage-14.1-20181030-UNOFFICIAL-kminilte.zip. However I do still have issues with getting mobile data to work, the phone never seems to make a connection while phone + text messages are working fine. Anyone has the same issue and found a way to fix it?

Not sure if it can help, my set-up was just yesterday evening from stock rom:
-- latest Odin running on windows7 virtual machine;
-- latest twrp from official site
-- latest ROM from here

In twrp there is check box to choose signature verification. Just booted into it and made picture

Hi, I use sourses:
https://dl.twrp.me/kminilte/ - for twrp, chosen the first from the list with tar extension
https://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=648344&st=1440#entry70716968 - for odin

https://www.theandroidsoul.com/samsung-galaxy-s5-mini-twrp-recovery/ - this howto for flashing twrp in odin. Note sourses in this howto and mine are different, I looked only for odin settings. Besides I unchecked box for automatic reboot after flashing, in order to prevent stock recovery to come back on first boot.

After flashing twrp was done, I just unplugged and switched off the phone, and instead of normall power on, booted in recovery mode py pressing buttons combination (vol up, home and power at same time) twrp was booted and I made complete wipe (data, system, cache, dalvik), then rebooted to twrp once again, and finally flashed the ROM.

Touch the pencil option on the top of the quick drop-down and there you can edit the order of icons and add/remove them

Please untick "Auto reboot" in Odin, otherwise TWRP will be overwritten on first boot
