Damn I feel like such a noob, I've updated to Nougat before and rooted my device and gone back to Marshmallow but now I can't remember for the life of me how to do THIS, I wanna update to the latest Oreo, is there a tutorial on how to do this ? I'm not understanding which file I need to download or how to do it, please help I'm on Marshmallow 6.0.1 and I just restored it to factory. I am installing the 3 security patches via SD card, first one went ok as well, I notice the updates take the phone back to square one, meaning like it was out of the box, I have to recover my stuff form a backup. After you install ota update from sd card the phone factory resets itself, so yes its normal procedure

Hi, im trying to download CSA3 from att servers but it wouldn't let me. Maybe they changed the verification algorithm
Now you need to dial *#8736364# on your phone and find Server Response, if there is any link post here so i can try to download the update

Hmmm I can get to the menu but the server is giving me nothing...

turn off the wifi when it is suspended, even if you have the option to keep it on

Download one file, extract to 4 files, put in ODIN and flash.

Hello since I updated the system a few weeks ago, I notice that the wifi is disabled even if you have the advanced option: Keep Wi-Fi activated during suspension: always, it only stays active when it is charging, someone who can help me, thanks .

Have you tried to reset ?In settings, there is Reset network settings, also data factory reset. If not working, try to clean cache through recovery.

I did a hard reset and clean the cache through recovery
I will try to clean the cache again

I already cleaned the cache, but it still deactivates the wifi when 4 minutes pass, thanks

Other users didn't report any problems with wifi after updating so maybe there is a problem with your phone

My s7 galaxy active has recently went into the constant state of recovery booting over and over again. wanting to fix this issue ive come here and downloaded this firmware and one other both failing this one saying it was something like incorrect unsupport dev type, then the other failed sw rev check fail 5 2

my guess is my phone has the latest firmware G891AUCS5CSB1

and it cannot succefuly reset without that same one? im hoping I can get the needed file and hopefully it fixes the boot problem.
