Good Morning,Hi everybody,
Because ROOT is not available on v5 bootloader for our beloved G891A, I worked in order to find a way to remove bloat apps on my phone.
I recently find a very instructive tuto explaining how to remove apps without root (thanks to Doug Lynch) : I can't post the link of the tutorial, if a modo can add it.
I manage to test it and It works like a charm. After listing all the apps of the G891AUCS5CSB1 firmware, I took a day to remove all the uneeded apps. The result is a clean and fast phone !
I tried to made some categories, fell free to improve it, just copy and paste in a text file, and rename it into *.bat file. Be carefull to remove what you want to keep on your phone before launching the script because you can't reinstall it. If you keep Samsung Health launch it one time before removing Knox.
Be sure to backup before !!
Enjoy !
Hi! someone can help me please?, i was trying to upgrade to oreo with these thread and now my phone is stuck in bootloop, i make sure to follow every step and nothing, please...Good Morning,
I was able to upgrade to 8.0, thanks to stek-kravari. Again it took me awhile because I lost much of my memory because of a Traumatic Brain Injury.
Has anyone tried user Tiri500's debloating .bat file? Also, what would be a simple ABD command to remove just one of the apps listed in the .bat file just to try it out? For example, what would be the step by step ABD command to remove one of the fonts, adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.monotype.android.font.foundation.

The .bat file is for running on Windows. It uses ADB for the debloat, so you need to have that installedHow do i run file .bat in my phone?
Thanks!
