CSG2 Success

Full ODIN stock ATT files.
Download one file, extract to 4 files, put in ODIN and flash.
I take no responsibility if anything goes wrong. You don't need to be on certain baseband to flash this, you can flash this directly from any baseband version....

If i helped you don't forget to hit thanks button :D
Wanted to share that I had a trouble free upgrade from CSB1 To CSG2 with this download. Thanks to Stek. Also wanted to share that CSG2 included an app called mobile services manager, apparently frequently bundled with carrier based phones. This app seems to download and install software from carrier approved sources without user notification. It used lots of battery and bandwidth until I found it and disabled it. All the apps it installed in the background were uninstallable, but I suggest disabling it - if you wish - immediately on phone reboot after update. For some reason I had no issues like this with Stek's CSB1 package. My regards!

Thank you

Hi everybody,

Because ROOT is not available on v5 bootloader for our beloved G891A, I worked in order to find a way to remove bloat apps on my phone.

I recently find a very instructive tuto explaining how to remove apps without root (thanks to Doug Lynch) : I can't post the link of the tutorial, if a modo can add it.....

!
Thanks for this post and all the work to find the packages to remove. I ended up with Doug Lynch's tutorial in one tab, your bat file in another, and a command prompt in the adb folder. I just copied & pasted the appropriate parts of the lines from your bat file into the command prompt to delete the items I wanted individually. Worked perfectly. Thanks again for making this unique to the s7a

What is the quickest path to update to the latest G891AUCU6CSF2

Should I follow this path or can take a shortcut ?
* G891AUCS3BRD1 -> U3CRE7 -> S4CRG3 -> U4CRH1 -> S4CRJ1 -> S4CRK1 -> S4CRK4 ->*G891AUCU6CSF2

Latest firm is sg2. I flashed it directly from crk4. As far as I understand it, you might flash the latest firm directly through Odin.
Read carefully the first post. It says you can flash directly from any baseband version.

Ho yes thanks my bad, I was also talking about sg2.

I think I'll upgrade to G891AUCU3CRE7 without ODIN and after try from G891AUCU3CRE7 to G891AUCS6CSG2 directly with odin.

After update, I didn't wipe cache and data, so the only problem was proximity sensor didn't work during a call, a did wipe the cache afterwards and the problem is solved.
