This worked great on my G900A but just a week out I started getting a “Unfortunately the process.com.android.phone has stopped” ... tried everything, factory reset, cleared this and that, tried al the online solutions then broke down and reinstalled with Odin, one week out it started again so now I'm back on official Lollipop.

Thanks for being active on the thread. I have 2 little questions:

1. I just wanted to be sure that I can use this method to update my SM-G900A 4.4.2 Stock Rom to this version 6.0.1, is it good to go?
2. In case it doesn't work, I read you went back to Lollipop, may I bother you with the files to flash or where I can get the same files you use to flash it to Lollipop? Just in case this method doenst work.

I have 2 of these AT&T phones in Canada one is at 5.1.1 G900AUCU4COI5 and one is at 6.0.1 G900AUCS4DQD1. I got a FitBit for Xmas and I need the FitBit App for Android 7 on the phones. Do you have instructions and ODIN files to put Android 7 on these phones? Thank you

Worked like a charm for 4.4.2 ND3 phone.
Use download manager to download the file. My flashlight now is too dim so downloaded from Appstore of few KB size.

If for any reason you wish to downgrade, you can safely flash any of the following full Odin firmware's... Phone will hang after flashing on startup at AT&T logo. Simply boot into recovery and perform factory wipe/reset and it will boot up fine after that.

If you wipe data exactly before going into Download mode, it wont hang anymore.

Kernel Version : G900AUCU2ANG3
Root Access : Yes
Operator : Global(Any)
Recovery : Bootstrap
Battery : Terrible

I picked G900AUCS4DQD1 (6.0.1) as my upgrade

I used the latest version of ODIN for Windows (Dualbooted on Macbook Air)

After all files are ready, I just open ODIN and flash those 4 files that contained in the downloaded folder

Now these are the stats,
Android Version : 6.0.1
Bootloader : G900AUCS4DQD1
Build ID : MMB29M.G900AUCS4DQD1
Root Access : As I can see, it's a No, but perhaps rootable
Operator : Still safe for Global
Battery : Still Bad, But getting slightly better, it's physically already bad tho

So, I can confirm this is very SAFE if you do it just like what I did
