Hey folks,

I've got an unlocked G900T that was originally from America. I bought it from someone who moved from America to here (Scotland, UK) and it works completey fine. Got it on CM13 (well, AOKP) but I still feel I want to go back to TW. Mainly for the camera and microphone gain issues, amongst a couple of others.

From my understanding no stock MM TW ROM currently exists for the 900T but, to my knowledge, the 900F MM TW will work, provided I've got the correct bootloaders etc?

I'm very technologically minded so can get my head round things easily but I'm struggling to get round what I need to do to make one of the custom 900F ROMS work on this model . Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks folks

Pete

You would need a flashable zip version to flash from custom recovery, don't think one exists

The G900F ROM is compatible, Bootloader and Modem are not from what I remember, so you'd need to remove those and create a flashable zip version of the ROM

Best to ask a dev with a G900F or T to point you in the right direction to create it

I use my g900p (CDMA device) with alexndr rom and works great, check my sign for the rom.
Only NFC don't work.

BTW you need MM bootloader and MM modem for your g900t and as far I remember t-mobile didn't release yet MM for g900t, so you have to wait..

Thank you both for your replies. Fully appreciated - thank you. Looks like I'll need to make do with CM based, or just wait. I'll stick to CM for now, the battery life alone on this ROM (assuming due to Doze etc) is incredible.

-- Sidenote, what's the difference between CM and TW as far as bootloader is concerned? In other words, why can it run CM13 and other MM ROMs just not TW due to the modem and bootloader?

Should maybe do some homework!

Cm13 is based on LL blobs. That's why you can use cm13 with LL bootloader but you can't use cm13 with MM bootloader.
