Also you can remove hidden.img from package, repack and flash the package... Then rename hidden.img to hidden.img.tar and flash it with odin, working.

you could flash XEU version with Odin, you don't need pit-file (it's only for VOD version) so no problem at all, worx great!

try to explain.....the pit file is only for the VOD (vodafone) version because if you flash that file with odin you get a fail when odin try to flash "hidden.img" because that file is bigger then the space reserved for it on your mobile.....if you flash the pit file first then that reserved space on your mobile will be bigger so you dont have the "hidden.img"problem when flashing the VOD firmware..(if im wright).
but for the XEU version you don't need the pit-file and you don't have the vodafone stuff on your mobile.....

Yes but basic fonctionality like showing email is impossible without XEF version.
