Already rooted with TWRP doesn't just need to flash the flashable and supersu?
Or does we need to observe the other points with ODIN?
Anyhow, I hope they will release 6.0.1 :)
Thank you

My god...WHY CAN'T I MAKE THIS WORK!! Only thing in 8 Years on android that has failed more then twice. There seems to be a lot of conflicting/different infomation scattered about the last 10 page, can some one clarify that the OP works step by step 100%

I've follow those exact steps and get as far as either a boot-loop or frozen on the Samsung Screen. Any Advice?

- Into Download mode flash BOOTLOADER_G925FXXU3COI9-L(5.1.1).tar (BL) & TWRP-2.8.7.0_G925F.tar (AP) via Odin
- Into Recovery
- Install G925F_3ZOL6-M(6.0)_Flashable.zip
- Install BETA-SuperSU-v2.66_Edition.zip (option)
- Into Download mode, flash BOOTLOADER_G925FXXU3ZOL6-M(6.0).tar via Odin (BL)
- Reboot

Right procedure, do a full wipe and start from here ...-->

for me it only works with a full wipe. But as i said some pages before, the 6.0 is not the version you're waiting for.... i'm also back to 5.1.1. We want the 6.0.1 and there is no possibility to update from this 6.0.
Trust me ;)

No it won't boot to recovery yet even with this recovery

Gear vr confirmed NOT working with this rom....as expected :(
The recovery is indeed from the G920F, but it's compatible with the MM bootloader. So you can flash it on your G925F and basic functionality like factory reset and applying update.zip theoretically work, downside is that there is no option to install from internal storage and adb sideload is broken. If you want to apply a update.zip with the original recovery you have to place it inside /cache/ so recovery can find it using the install from cache function. So it's pretty useless at this point.

i tried the mm recovery, but it is not possible to install a update via adb nor from sdcard.
Apart from this, there is no functional update.zip from 6.0.1

Hi All,

We just tried to do this on my friends phone at work. And unfortunately we missed one step... One very VITAL AND IMPORTANT step.... Step 1) Copy the rom onto internal storage.

So we flashed the kernel, and the TWRP recovery... only then, it dawned on us... "The ROM!!!!" So now we're stuck on a bricked device. With no access to mount it (or that I can find) and no bootable OS.

On my own older phones (N7000 and i9100) if I need to access the phone whilst in Recovery, I could goto [Mount] and then mount either internal or external SD card. However on the S6 Edge, I cannot see an option to mount Internal ????

We tried to flash an older Lollipop rom (which was able to do, following this method. In fact, even dug up our old thread on here with all links still valid). However that failed to flash over, and now we're getting a Knox Warranty message in Download Mode. Despite all files being flashed via Odin, the correct way...?

What can we do now, either to take us back to Lollipop... or to carry on with Marshmallow and somehow get the rom file onto the phone, whilst the phone is stuck between Download Mode and TWRP recovery....

Please help...... PLEASE!!! Thank you...
