Hi Guys
Wich version are you guys flashing without any problems, is it the nightly's or the stable One ?
Because I read a lot of problems but I don't know witch version to blame.
Because I really want want to Flash 8.0, Firmware is already downloaded

Full wipe then r42 then all my apps from titanium backup but clean install substratum don't know what basta is though

Actually because I had the "7 day lockout issue" I ran stock CRAP for 7 days so already had BL & modem on O

Just want to ask if the Call ID feature is missing or just not working on Oreo?

It worked fine on Nougat upon installing Oreo the option is gone, I've noticed that there is an extra option for this to be enabled on Aroma which I have ticked and I have also changed the CSC and yet no luck.

You mean the Caller ID & Spam Protection? The Samsung one?

That's CSC dependent....you need to ensure you get the correct CSC working when you flash.

Note that not all CSCs in the Aroma installer are working. Some are just dummy CSCs. For example the Australian one doesn't work.

I always flash the flashable CSC straight after flashing a ROM (before rebooting) and everything works 100%, including caller ID & spam protection, VoLTE, WiFi Calling, HD Calling, etc etc...

Don't rely on the Aroma CSC....you should always flash your CSC from the Flashable one from that link....

But do the overlays survive a reboot, or do you have to enable them again when you have restarted your phone?

Hello guys, I just updated the Rom with Nightlies doing only a wipe cash and dalvik, I did well or had to install a full wipe? however, I found the same problem with the notification curtain, which between the lines you see the background. for me an annoying Po. some advice? thank you

Wondering if anyone could assist. I can't get wifi to turn on during setup. nor does it pickup any AP's in my area, the wifi button turns on then turns itself off during setup screen.

Right, I am truly baffled why I appear to be the only person that can't get this update to boot., after flashing it's still hanging on the system boot "Samsung Galaxy S8"
...If anyone has any ideas what may be causing this I'm all ears, I really want to update but this issue is really kicking my ass and I seem to be one of the only people with this issue.

I've attached an image of the screen I mean to avoid any confusion with the Android boot screen.

Here's what I would do.

In Odin, either do the process listed elsewhere (see https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8+/how-to/guide-how-to-flash-crap-using-odin-t3748555 ) to flash CRAP FW or flash back to AQL5.

Flash TWRP via Odin

I'd then try the TWRP flash of the stable CRAP zip and see how you go. (as in DON'T flash the FW update until things are working) I did this because in one of my trials I was getting SystemUI crashes and as I was doing a Restore my MicroSD died nuking all my backups on the card and leaving me with a non-functional phone.

I repaired the card, added back backups from my PC and then started over as above.

A thing I picked up years back - I never let the ROM boot from the 'Reboot Now' screen - I tap No and it goes back to the Install page and completes the process and vibrates. I probably don't have to do it but it was something from the S3 days and I've done it ever since.

If the above doesn't work, try the update from AQL5 to ZRA5 then the update from ZRA5 to CRAP and see if that makes a difference.

Also, what choices are you making in Aroma? Maybe do a run with everything installing - you can always re-run Aroma and change things bit by bit if it works on the complete ROM.

It's not a requirement, no.
