All the information that you need can be found in the OP and in the threadhello i have mi s9 on t-mobile and i want to flash it to a android version 8.0 with no carrier? what file i have to flash?
Bootloader 6 for U1 is now up on SamFirmJust in time for Bootloader 6 (should be coming out in the next week or two), Bootloader 5 for U1 model is finally here - can get it via SamFirm
Total reflash back to UHello. I have a cricket S9 (G960U) and flashed the U1 (XAA) firmware with Odin because I'm going to move off of cricket in a few weeks and was just preparing for it, however I didn't quite realize how much I need wifi calling while I'm still using cricket. Can I use the cricket userdata on U1 or do I need to a complete Odin reset back to U?
I can't seem to find the correct zip to do that anywhere. It's like the only one not available is circket for some reason.Total reflash back to U
As stated in the OP, AT&T doesn't make their firmware files available online - never have, never will. What bootloader version are you on?I can't seem to find the correct zip to do that anywhere. It's like the only one not available is circket for some reason.
Ah. I wasn't thinking of it as ATT. 6. August security update. 6CSH1As stated in the OP, AT&T doesn't make their firmware files available online - never have, never will. What bootloader version are you on?
ATT hasn't released a bootloader 6 update yet. So you're stuck until they doAh. I wasn't thinking of it as ATT. 6. August security update. 6CSH1
I see. Well looks like I wouldn't be able to find it anyway lol. I actually ported my number to a different service anyway and am just using out the rest of the 3 weeks I still had on cricket before I activate the other carrier which is why I switched to U1 so whatever I guess, but the cricket rom would be good to have just in case.ATT hasn't released a bootloader 6 update yet. I always post USERDATAs for new bootloaders as soon as I get them. They should be coming soon - I think pretty much every other carrier has BL 6 by nowI see. Flashing userdata only would get me cricket features but I'd stay on U1? Is that how that works?I always post USERDATAs for new bootloaders as soon as I get them. They should be coming soon - I think pretty much every other carrier has BL 6 by now
Nope. Need full U firmware to get carrier features.Flashing userdata only would get me cricket features but I'd stay on U1? Is that how that works?
Oh what would just the userdata be for then?Nope. Need full U firmware to get carrier features.
USERDATA by itself serves zero purposeOh what would just the userdata be for then?
So then by your previous reply you meant you were going to be posting the files in general? Because you used the words userdata lolUSERDATA by itself serves zero purpose
I don't post the base firmware files unless I get early access to them, before they hit SamFirm or other sources. Since ATT's firmware will never be available via SamFirm, I upload at least one of their USERDATAs for each bootloader version. There are plenty of other places to get the base firmware files fromSo then by your previous reply you meant you were going to be posting the files in general? Because you used the words userdata lol
I've searched high and low for cricket on all of the various sites and can't find anything. Will ATT in general enable wifi calling on cricket?I don't post the base firmware files unless I get early access to them, before they hit SamFirm or other sources.
