Not sure what I'm doing wrong... I downloaded all the RB7 files and the att userdata and the modded odin. Everything appear to load fine and successful. The phone is a Verizon unlocked U firmware, and I am trying to dump the U firmware on it with the ATT usersdata, but it still comes up with the VZW splashscreen. Is it not possible to change it from one to the other like I did with my VZW s7 I reloaded with ATT firmware?

Did you do a factory wipe first? Then flash with csc not the home with your AT&T Sim in the phone.

Apparently it's impossible to get rid of any carrier splashg screen. I've been told it is because of the Multi CSC and all firmware are the same. I don't know how it all works. I have tried flashing my S9+ with a carrier splash screen with stock firmware and even went as far using another countries firmware and I still get the splash screen.

Just tried it again with a factory wipe, swapping in my AT&T sim and used Odin to flash. Same results, it boots up to a Verizon boot screen and won't activate the phone, complains about not having a Verizon sim. If I swap back in the VZ sim it's all still the VZ apps, no AT&T.

Would I be better trying to flash a U1 firmware? Would that take my phone to a clean firmware without any carrier stuff? or is that something that will brick it? I'd prefer the AT&T stuff if I could, just to make sure I can do any AT&T only features... but if I have to I will.

It will never work because of the multi CSC. I have flashed the UK and German firmware and still get the carrier splash screen

Try again using this patched Odin

I'm not sure then since I have a factory unlocked U1 model. I was able to flash VZW full software with the VZW red hello and all the apps. I have since flashed back to the samsung firmware, no VZW splash screen no vzw apps etc.

Might be different with unbranded S9/S9+. But my partner got one from Optus and I told her it would be easy to get rid of the Optus splash screen. I flashed with stock firmware and then tried the UK and German, but still have the Optus splash screen.

Yeah, I don't really know, I'm working with a Snapdragon US model, and this is my first Samsung, I've always had HTC smart phones, so I'm no expert.

Wait you have the unlocked SM-G965U1? How did you flash? Did you use latest version of Odin or did you use modified version? Also did Knox get tripped??

I got the 9 U1.

I flashed with 3.13 stock and flashed the full VZW U firmware and user data.

I flashed back to the unlocked U1 stock firmware with the modded odin.

I was able to flash the U1 firmware onto my Verizon U firmware S9 and it now is bone stock with no VZ splashscreen. I think instead of trying to take it to ATT userdata, I might just give it a go like this for a whlie. Thanks for all your help!
