Hopefully someone can catch the OTA update file when Verizon actually releases it so we don't have to completely wipe if we weren't in the official beta.

I'll try my best to.
I already have files on standby so i can pull them if i need to.
I wouldn't sweat it. The official tar images on other carriers have all be released within a day of update or at same time. So people can just flash odin tar image to update. There is no need trying to pull 2 different update zips. Thats alot of work to gain a day over everyone else.

If you think about it the people using the T-Mobile firmware are already enjoying official nougat. I still say Verizon wont get 7.0 before the s8 is released. Im sure TMobile firmware is running better than Verizon's has. I guess verizon was actually 2nd US carrier to be running official nougat. Lol

The T-Mobile build is pretty awesome, I had to ditch it tho because I can't use my phone at all at work without wifi calling. I know there are other ways around this but I'm back on mm to wait out the official version.

As usual verizon last and late to the game. And pulled the beta away.
Why are they always like this?
I speculate a few things.
1.Their decision maker is not the greatest.
2. Their software team is not the greatest.
3. Something tells me they are also putting the over and beyond in effort to cover up any possible vulnerability. :'(

Flash the T-Mobile version with the Verizon CSC. Everything works great except wifi calling

Is there any reason not to just keep beta 2 if we already have it loaded or is there something better in T-Mobile flash that can't wait for final Verizon release?
Much smoother better battery and VR. However it would wipe data so if you are not worried about any of that no. Unless you use Package disabler pro which is supposedly going to be blocked by Verizon's nougat works on T-Mobile. Just don't take the OTA right away until people confirm.

Thank you. I flashed the beta, since I didn't get an invite. Any idea what will need to be done to get the ota when released? Will i need to flask back to pi3?

Beta 2 has lot of issues. I found frequent hangs and errors. The T-Mobile version is much better and snappy.

The beta has a bug that causes assistive technology apps and device administrators (e.g. Last pass app fill) to be disabled on each reboot. It's fixed in the T-Mobile build.
