It's not good news. I totally regret updating to Android 10, so many issues.

Clipboard apps broken
Alarm apps broken
Skinning and theming incompatible
Custom fonts no longer supported in Hexified
Good Lock incompatible
Lags, battery drain, freezing, notification area is a mess.

And lots more.

Be careful what you wish for.

Funny, aside from theming (which has nothing to do with functionality), I've had the opposite experience. Granted, I just got the phone a week ago, and it came with 10 after an update right out of the box, but my battery life is incredible, zero app issues, and I'm really enjoying 10.

My one and only gripe is waiting on support for gestures in Nova.

Trust me, I was excited about getting the update and at first all seemed ok. But then I noticed certain things were not behaving as normal especially with common apps.

I assumed that the apps just needed to receive updates from their developers but then I find that that's not going to happen because Google has removed various functions. Alarm clock apps that don't wake the screen on activation, clipboard access by third party apps no longer supported, which breaks several apps I have. The fact that Google also stopped third party launchers from using the new gestures. Smart lock broken, theming broken, lockdown of various permission access.

Then I noticed lag on the recent apps button and other stutters around the system. Some notifications no longer appearing, battery optimisation no longer intuitive, and more.

I have gone from a perfectly functional phone with everything working normally, to a phone with many frustrations, and I am not seeing ANY benefits from Android 10/UI2

How is it possible? I'm still on android 9.UK Vodafone

Use Frija to download it buddy. Or, even better, hit up Vodafone for you NUC (Network Unlock Code) and SIM unlock your blower. That way your software updates will come from Samsung as opposed to Vodafone.

Thanks for the heads up. Strangely enough, I got notification of ATA5 last night. I was hoping it was the Feb update, but it had the same date as ATA1: Jan 1, 2020. I actually called TM to verify it was for real, since it had this same date. Besides, it wasn't listed on TM's update page. They checked and said it was fine. Maybe I was being over cautious, but for those of us that used to root our phones, I figured you can't be too careful. I have never bricked one, and would hate to start now. ?

    Hello,
i got a 976B from Ebay. Original it was VOD/VOD/VOD.
I flashed DTM with Odin because i´m in Germany and my Provider is Telekom.
In January i got the Android 10 Update from SamMobile (N976BXXU1BSLA_N976BODX1BSL7_DTM).
I got now DTM/DTM/VOD. There is no DBT for the 976B .
