The easiest way to know if you have been knoxed out is by installing Phone Info app from Google Play. Yes, it must be custom recovery. Once you flashed that, your knox gone.Hi, like to know if your know tripped the knox?
The part that you flash the zipped through recovery, must it be a custom recovery?
Well, you can wait until your warranty is over that you don't care about knox anymore. Thanks for your reply. I am now rooted with the stock recovery, knox not triggered. Was hoping there is a way to install xposed using stock recovery. Have been Google-ing but I am not able to find an appropriate way.
Custom recovery and kernel will trip knox. If you're already in Lollipop, there's no way to root without tripping knox. You can use towelroot method and keep knox but you have to go back to KitKat and then slowly (and painfully) update to Lollipop. Search in General you will find details.will it trip knox? if so any other way to root without tripping knox.
Hmmm... think now got framework released for 5.0 or 5.1 already. But I have not tried yet...
