Are there going to be any developers that will jump on this and make it worth getting?
dont know i really could use this thing with only root and be happy so we will see. have 14 days to decide what to do
I'm not familiar with these. Is it generally possible to get a developer edition as an upgrade (subsidized price) or are these full price only?

No full price is usually it. Just sell your n3 online and pay the difference is what im gunna do

i paid full retail for note 3 so im confused on what to do. but in the past i agree with droidrev they havent made a big impact
I'm waiting for 14 days if root is not realize by then, I'm returning it and I'm waiting for the developer edition . Always been the plan but now it cemented it even more
Honestly im sure a work around will come around (sorry had to) so just be patient.

Not going to work. Verizon's bootloader is locked. Same reason why the CF one root didn't work for AT&T.
Yeah I have to pay full retail anyway. Definitely might as well buy this one. Happy I was unable to get this on release day.
Once we get Odin files we WILL have root.
