Hi, one question, can the magisk zip be installed with twrp? I ask this because it is the most convenient way to get the mod, just uninstall it with magisk.

Edit: try and give error, also twrp zip, and magisk fails in flashing. It only works to copy the files to the root.

It's working for me on snapdragon using safestrap. Flashfire didn't work for me. Though it is a tad bit quiet but I will try adjusting it a bit more. Thank you and others for your work.

I am using Exynos version Samsung Note 8 ... have installed the Oreo_TWRP_Note8_DualSpeaker_by_Dante63.zip using TWRP ... normal music player is working absolutely fine in dual speaker mode however on other video streaming apps like Youtube the volume starts normally and after 10 seconds drops to about 30% levels but volume levels show 100%
What could be the issue

Give up on this. Doesn't work well.

We will get dual speaker when we buy new phones.

@Dante63 hey there. I see that the earpiece volume when playing music is corresponding with the volume levels. Can I set a fixed volume for the earpiece when playing music? Or atleast set my own earpiece volume range ? I understand how to change the earpiece volume for calls etc. But idk how to change it for the dual speaker. Thanks man

Hello everyone,
I hope everyone is fine, my apologies for I didn't update all my threads nor close them...
My MODs are outdated, since the process of keeping them up-to-date is long and has flaws...
I have decided to discontinue making MODs myself and created a tutorial for everyone to be able to make the MOD with no issues...
There are Magisk and TWRP templates as well...

    If you didn't, no worries I have Attached my Backup (EXYNOS & SNAPDRAGON)...
    You can Use it with MAGISK (Snapdragon device, doesn't have Magisk)
    or
    You can Use it with TWRP
    or
    Just extract the MANUAL zip and get the mixers and place them in your system/etc & set permissions to 644 (rw-r--r--) ...
    reboot...
    Re-Tested on my Note 8 Exynos...
    Still Works Great... :silly:

    SNAPDRAGON MOD:

    --- TWRP file is flashable by flashfire reported by users...
    --- TWRP Bluetooth & Headphones (the file name having "_BT_HD_" ) Gain Modified by member rickberg, revised by me...

    EXYNOS MOD:
    --- Merged All Modules and produced one, DIY for volume change...
    --- Top Speaker as it is, created TWRP as well...
    - disabled bottom speaker upon request from Motawa88...

    IMPORTANT NOTICE:
    The MOD can be used with any Equalizers, but wouldn't recommend it...
    If using Equalizer will cause crackles and noise, stop using and report back please so I could decrease the default volume...

    If only if you want to use any amplifiers/equalizers, the volume in the mixer file for the earpiece must be adjusted at lower level to avoid damage to the earpiece...
    I'll post the code you need to modify yourself, AGAIN the volume I put should be safe, if you decide to INCREASE it above what I put at least make sure not even a slight noise, distortion or crackle...

    Why I didn't set to the max volume, some music are amplified by default, in other words they are loud by default, it's like when you watch a prank video with your headset on loud volume and someone screams you'd say "rip ears", it's similar "rip earpiece", I set it to the max safe level possible so any change in music levels wouldn't do any harm to it...

    Throughout my testing I've been doing the copy, paste, set permissions then reboot method and it works 100%. I use root explorer, also while noticeable it is not omnipresent...try a video file, hold phone landscape at a comfortable distance and listen for the effect. You didn't by chance install the "stock" file he posted did you?
