Hi,
I have a strange issue, when i opened my Gnote for the first time when it was new,
The default Internet Browser was awesome, if i remember correctly it had a 3 doted icon on the toolbar, when you pressed it it opened an extended menu with options like changing User Agent (iPad, android and so on)

After updating it using OTA, the new internet browser turned into very simple one without many options, all the options to change user agent disappeared and many otehr advanced options disappeared too.

The setting menu has very few settings...

Do you know what happened? Is there a way to return that awesome browser? Maybe a APK file?

Thanks

if you have gb i would recommend you opera mobile 12, supports flash, smooth, no lags. If you are using ics, i would recommend you google chrome ;D
Im allergic to opera i hated this browser from its first days on desktop so im using Dolphin HD.
I just wonder why the phones default browser changed.

Why what happened? I never use the previous update only the last one..
there used to be a home button on the top left by the address bar, now it is add a bookmark, i used the home feature al lthe time as my bookmarks are stored in the first page, plus there was a change in the toolbar menu whcih is now cluttered imo

I gave up using Dolphin HD because it was making my Note really hot. I had 46 degrees Celcius while charging. I back on stock GB browser.

I dont think that browser have any effects on device temperature, also while charging its normal for the battery to get hot..

Jeez...

You are wrong. The browser has an effect on the device's temp since it is using the processor's full potential ;) and yeah I know that the device gets hot while charging ;)

The point is that charging and using delphin hd make the device really hot..

What full potential ? R u kidding, didnot u c the video that some one is running 4videos including 2 on youtube and many floating browser windows Are opened and playing a game and still the device processor is not at full potential???

The true info that browsing internet using 3G data have the maximum drain of battery due to the usage of continuous screen and power needed for 3G connection beside the processor,

Try to open just google with wifi and without plugging the charger and u will be sure that u r totally wrong :D

Plz check ur battery usage status also during this

Heat is caused mainly by charging or diacharging the battery or processor operations not mainky because of a browser ;)

Lets do it in a practical way:
More processing= more heat=more battery drain=more heat again

And by checking those snapshots u will find that even my 3D live wallpaper and other tools have more battery drain than my browser,so now my device should be heated forever??
