v4.3 rollout info:
http://www.sammobile.com/2013/11/19...eives-official-android-4-3-jelly-bean-update/

What's the deal exactly when it comes to upgrading from 4.1.2 to 4.3 ?

I can't do OTA updates as the phone detected the custom status (but I'm still on stock Samsung ROM).

What exactly do I need to put back to standard ? Bootloader ?
Restore original Note 2 toolkit backups to phone, install 4.3 and then re-root somehow & reinstall my apps or what ?

Toolkit Development Stopped?

http://www.skipsoft.net/?page_id=1099

Please donate to the man. He has been helping people out for years.
Also, remember this people, the new Toolkit can only be accessed by donating.
Don't try an older one if your build is not on it. Donate and stay happy.
I donated. Has development of this toolkit stopped completely? The last update was way back in April.

i am pretty sure the toolkit is unified now for all devices he supports...........you choose your model at startup and it loads the files you need for that device..................

Unified Toolkit is Nexus only

Unfortunately this is not correct at the moment.
The point is that the new unified toolkit does not support Samsung devices yet.
What a pity. :crying:

stand corrected....................that sucks but really not needed as all you need to do anything is here
- Root is easy enough with cf auto root and flashing recovery is easy done via odin like Philz etc. i never really used the toolkit on note 2 as it isnt really doing much that you cant do yourself with a little searching. it however does simplify things a hell of alot

I am working on updating and adding ALL the samsung Toolkits (S3, Note2, Note 8.0, Note 10.1 and Galaxy Camera) to the Unified Android Toolkit. I hope you understand that this is a mamoth task as the Main Code needs a 90% re-write to make it compatable and I have not been able to work much over christmas but I am back in full flow now. I will be adding support for all available new builds and existing codes from donators will work to activate device specific pro functions on the unified android Toolkit. Follow me on twitter or keep an eye on the thread for updates when the devices have been added.

First off, I want to say thank you for creating a such a great application. It's extremely easy to understand and use and the tools have been very useful to me. Your reply was the answer I have been looking for. With the recent 4.3 update coming to our devices, I wanted to get in on the action. I was looking to see if you were still developing this application or not and I'm glad to see that you are.
Thanks again.

Not recognized as a one who donated

Hey Skip,

I donated and briefly received a toolkit that did not have the new update. It says coming soon.
Now I don't even get that. I'm on the free site and am no longer recognized as one that donated/contributed.
What gives??
Now that you are preparing to come out with a toolkit with the new upgrade, I would think that I would be allowed to have access to it.
Please advise
Regards
Dave

Sorry it has taken soo long to finish but im proud to release the updated Android Toolkit with added support for Samsung devices and new builds. I still have a few devices to add to the Toolkit [Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, Samsung Galaxy Camera and Samsung Galaxy Gear] but the Toolkit now supports the following:

Samsung Galaxy Nexus
Nexus 4
Nexus 5
Nexus 7 [2012]
Nexus 7 [2013]
Nexus 10
Samsung Galaxy S3
Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini
Samsung Galaxy S4 [NEW SUPPORTED DEVICE]
Samsung Galaxy Note 2

Supported devices and latest supported builds *HERE*

ChangeLog
Unified Android ToolKit v1.2.4 [Note 2 V5.0.0] 10th March 2014
+Added support for Samsung Galaxy S3, Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini,*Samsung Galaxy S4 and*Samsung Galaxy Note 2
+Updated support for latest builds in all device modules
+Root options support insecure boot and custom recovery methods [all rewritten]
+Added KNOX notification disabler for Samsung modules
+Added Root Checker to check the status of your root/busybox
+Added more help screens to the Information section and added ability to save screen and send to default printer
+Added philz_touch Advanced cwm recovery to Samsung modules [will be added to Nexus modules soon]
+Added option in build selection screen to disable all adb root functions [custom recovery functions available]
+Toolkit will disable insecure boot functions if insecure boot image not available
+Updated Samsung drivers to 1.5.33.0
+Re-wrote most of the code to Change the way lots of functions work [more efficient and more stable]
+Many more changes I can't think of right now

Existing activation codes will still work to update device modules in the Unified Android Toolkit to the pro version of the device you donated to. I am updating the Auto Updates for the newly supported devices but it's probably easier to download the full version and re-activate as it is such a big update.

If you have any feedback please send it to [email protected] for now as emails to [email protected] are still not coming through to me.

Hope you enjoy.

Mark.

added the toolkit tool folder to my path variable in windows and it fixed it.
That was a fault on my end not specifying the correct path to look in. Fixed the problem and uploaded the device file back to my server so for you or anyone else who may have (or want to correct) the problem just delete the ConfigGalaxyNote2.exe file from the tools folder, start the toolkit and it will download the fixed file when you select the note 2 from the device list.
