THANK YOU for the update,Mark. I had the pro version previously and had my activation code sent to me and all is good. However I will be at the mercy of wwJoshDew or some other member to make a how to videofor the updated toolkit note 2 sprint :/
I tried and ended up with an E: failed- error on my phone (almost crapped my homeless pants) thinking I destroyed my phone.....
Quitters never win but they do get continued use out of their phone.

quick question does this tool kit unlock sim? i have the note 2 tmobile 4.3 downgraded to 4.2 and 4.1 yet the options in the hiddin menu remain the same so im at a loss of trying to unlock sim i bought the phone new from tmobile and they told me i had to have a tmobile acct to get unlock code?? little assnine i think why the hell whould i want a tmobile acct lol they have crap service were im at soo been playin with it for days lol soft bricked it twice lol tryin diffrent thinks just wondering if anyones found a work around thanks in advance

HEllo i have the samsung note 2 from tmobile SGH-T889, it was 4.3 firmware then i updated to 4.1.1 so that i can unlock the phone, but the problem is it wont let me update the firmware now thru over the OTA it says cant upload phone was modified, and i try to download it from kies, but when its about to download the fimrware kies stock forever and nothing happened, now i did download the latest fimware from sammobile which is MK7 and try it via odin. but it also stock thru odin. anything wrong with my phone?

No worries we'll get you where you need to be. Even your one modded count showing a voided warranty will just poof away. I must confess that I have only been around about 9 months but I appear to have mad all my mistakes early :=)

Were you sucessful unlocking your phone?

Please tell me is your Note 2 still rooted?

A good test is to download The root only version of Titanium Backup from the playstore. If it loads and installs and is blessed by SuperSU you are rooted,

If the installer says root your phone during the installation you are obviously not.

While you are at the play store get "Chainfire's "triangle away" we use that to reset your counter. It works great.

When using a USB connection between your phone and your computer do all the drivers load okay?

Using Samsung's Retail driver pack, there are about 5 drivers that need to load up. If you need to get the samsung drivers, go to the site, look up your phone and download the latest version of USB drivers posted.

Please tell me which version of Original Samsung Galaxy T-Mobile Note 2 (SGH-T889) would you like to install?

I am personally using v4.30 with SuperSU injected as undiscoverable into the mix so once we're back up running we are both Sock and still rooted. It is a good way to go. But up to you. Please make a choice.

No sir. The tool kit has no unlock feature inside. However if you had T-Mobile service, for over ...either 3 months or a year (sorry I will have to look that up) they will give you an unlock code for your phone. What can we do for you?

Serial not showing up

Alhough I installed the Samsung usb device drivers with the toolkit while my GN2 N7100 was unplugged, its serial still doesn't show up after I replugged it and refreshed the main menu.
The weird thing is that my GN2 is seen by my Windows OS, and the internal USB memory share is accessible if I enable it.

Any idea why the serial doesn't show up in the main menu ?

Wow Google DNS servers were adding (192.168.1.1:8181) to the front of anything I tried to download (Strange indeed)
I switched to verizon DNS and every thing works as it should.

I'm on week 3 trying to root/unlock my wifes Verizon Note 2 I605VRALL4 Android 4.1.1 with Unified_Android_Toolkit_v1.2.8 and I can not get the recovery-twrp-2.6.3.2-t0ltevzw to install in Odin no matter what I do? It always failes.

1. It will still work with other versions/builds, the build selection process is really for rooting which you have no need for if you are running a custom rom.
2. The Toolkit automates some of the manual processes and gives detailed walk throughs to help do what you need.
3. You can activate the public version. If you are having problems with your AV blocking certain files/downloads (due to the compiler used and the exe files not having microdoft certification) then you may need to whitelist the Toolkit folder.

You can use the same activation code to activate the pro version of the Galaxy Note 2 module. Just select the Note 2 from the device list at startup then type 00 at the model selection screen to enter your code.

i tryed lots of time and evry time it does not update - it downloads the file restarts but still 6.0.1

Am using Lollipop 5.1.1 CyanogenModX Angi kernel 4.4.5. Installed ADB and fastboot in 15 mins. Advanced works well, odin works perfectly but fastboot not working.... Any suggestions
