Thanks for the info, I will relay the message and keep you posted, my Note II is with Sprint and took me 15 minutes to do and that was on the latest MA7 OTA release, leave it to Verizon to complicate life.
I know you specifically asked Mskip, however, I just successfully rooted two VZW Note 2's on the LL4 software. You must root the LL4 firmware with Adam Outler's Casual exploit, as stated in the Verizon SCH-I605 warning page in the toolkit. Casual is being a bit picky with driver installs, but it does work if done properly.

You'll also find a handy little app called Zadig posted by jrloper that will force the correct drivers to be installed if CADI (Casual Automated Driver Installer) fails in Casual.
