Hmm...can you try opening Superuser and requesting the binary update a few times?
I tried that once and it failed so I restarted the phone tried at one more time and it failed again when it was testing to see if SU would work.

What I did to fix this issue was go in to CWM recovery then ran 3.07SU.zip that I downloaded when I first rooted my phone. When my phone booted up apps had SU permission.

Thanks for your ROM and time.

I also lost root.. I tried updating binary but all I get is the word "working" on top of screen and right below that, it says downloading manifest and its stuck on that screen like its trying to download something.. I'm going to odin CWM again and re-root unless you have different advise????

The new SU binary has issues... The updated Superuser app works fine but the updated binary doesn't work properly.......I have no idea why.

Was having the same issue, SU wouldn't prompt for permissions when an app was requesting it. Had not updated SU from v3.0.7 after flashing, but updating binary a few times fixed it. Thanks freeza

Great job! Thanks.

One request though, could you please make a non-DC mod .zip to get second core back to stock behavior? The reason why I'm asking is because the samsung implementation feels very smooth and battery efficient, and I'm not sure that I want to mess with what already works.

Thanks in advance.

I though the only SU was chainfire's? Updating the SU app from the market is what started giving me root permission problems. Uninstalling the market update and updating the su binaries only is what fixed it for me.

ChainsDD made the first superuser that we all generally use; chainfire made superSU for his own comfort because he wanted additional features that superuser didn't offer.

I have the same thing. I'm going to download it again in case it was a bad download. I tried reactivating the phone and updating profile/prl but it wouldn't allow me since it wasn't on the network.
