Galaxy s II goes into boot cyle after replacement usb port installed

So after my original usb port completely crapped out on me I bought a replacement online. After installing when I plug in my usb it immediately reboots and just does this reboot cycle again and again. I've tried two separate usb ports, both do the same. The any ideas?

You might not have everything securely fastened to the mainboard. Check that first.
Its like something is shorting out or isnt grounded.

I think it was uh improper grounding hence the importance of sticky tape that comes on the components. I took it apart again and just stuck it down all that much better and it seems to work properly now

Well I had an issue with the one I ordered and it caused me to have no signal... I'm glad you got yours working
