work 96hz on September patch s20 ultra exynoss
Ah, right, it should work with the S20 Exynos version then. Not sure why it didn't

Just installed it again, rebooted and tried the link on one of the first posts and it still reports the screen as 60hz :(

Update - I'm an idiot, I hadn't changed the motion smoothness to high in the display settings... It now works :cowboy:

Does this really help to increase battery life?
I've been using the app but i don't feel it's making a big difference

My battery doesn't last the day..i have to charge one more time in the evening..do you face the same issue. I'm using exynos

Well Android 11 made it to where you can't use bixby routines to get power saving mode and keep 96 HZ on the screen. As soon as you start the routine it reverts back to 60 hertz.
Hopefully it's an easy fix cuz I wouldn't limit my CPU. I'd just let it stop background checks and so on. It seemed to help my battery life out decent.

Hi! You may want to try this app for this purpose. Just need to grant the app permission once using adb for it to be able to switch to high/adaptive motion smoothness even on medium power.

No you misunderstood me. On Android 11 they don't have medium power saving mode anymore. It's just power saving mode. So when you create the bixby routine and click on power saving mode and click the start button it turns back to 60 hertz. I'm sure the developer can fix it.
