Its a rather big update which is nice, changelog states that the update contains August security patch and improvement of overall stability of functions. Let's see if there are any noticeable changes.

I got the OTA update and it buggered up the phone, now it will not accept a t-mobile sim at all and provide data via it...
(just acts as a non-data sim)

Original sim wouldn't get data apn's and a payg test sim was exactly the same, and there is no way to add a apn at all as it doesn't save it and just shows the constant error that the settings can't be adjusted for the user.

Whether or not it happened because I had a work profile there not sure, the last ota was fine.. But least a cautionary tale for others to maybe be aware for.

Yeah it's very odd. This delay did not happen at all in the last few months. Or even this month for other devices. Even the S10 series got it, a week ago, i think.

I guess what happened is that they thought they could release the OneUI 4 official update in december with the decemeber patch instead of releasing two separate updates.

But they had to halt the distribution of all one ui 4 updates now because of a problem with the google play verification something like that. Which makes us end up with this situation.

Hopefully something changes soon. Btw, i'm on the One UI 4 beta so i might not be able to post the update.zip file for the next DBT update....

A new update is here, pushing us to DUK1.
But it is not yet Android 12 or OneUI 4
