Does the Camera Assistant app or Expert Raw with astrophotography mode work on your phones? On my 9980 TGY is doesn't work unfortunately...

Yes it doesn't work for me either , also the (back-tap action) on Registar model on goodlock doesn't work for me, but it works on the Samsung A33 , i don't know why it doesn't work on the S21 ultra

Initial impressions: phone is back to being a heater again. Literally just browsing Instagram and messaging app, the phone heats up like crazy. 14 pro max makes a lot more sense now.

I'm using the Hongkong version and found the Android 13 update available this morning. Unfortunately that put my phone to boot loop. It took me quite sometime to get out of it. Direct flashing with Odin resulted the same. I had to revert back to Android 12.

Just found out that I also have to reset my watch too because now the phone is "NEW"

My rule of thumb is to do a factory reset whenever there's a major version of one ui or Android. It's at most, going to be a yearly thing anyway. That's why I reset my phone and flashed the latest one

Thanks for the suggestion. But in this case, I don't think it's related since I later tried to flash the same version with Odin but still couldn't get out of boot loop. But that time, I managed to get into recovery (when doing the upgrade, I couldn't even get to that), so I also wiped the cache, then did the factory reset. But still no success. So I'll stick to Android 12 for a few months and see.

    I have left the hopes of it getting fixed anytime soon. Might as well move to an iphone because of inconveniences like this.

    I have reasons to believe it has to do with Jio and not the phone. I've had 5G issues with my phone being with Vodafone and it's been fixed.

    Hey there, I definitely understand the frustration. The phone should just work right out of the box without any issues considering how expensive it is.

    Have you had a look at the option under
    Settings > Developer Options > 5G Network Mode

    Seems to me that there is a toggle for NSA/SA/NSA+SA

    Reading in Reddit about all the bugs in UI4 it may be an advantage that we are last. Perhaps some more bugs will get ironed out..

    Good luck mate... give it another day.. if this is ur daily driver, dont lose warranty just for the heck of it... its a very very expensive piece of machinery :(

    Sad that a different nations regulations prevent u from receiving critical security patches!!
