Update on this: I did some more testing and came to conclusion that only 1080p60 is affected by this stabilization issue. On 1080p30 and 4k60 there are no issues with the stabilization.
When I'm recording 1080p60 the viewfinder of the camera app behaves like it's applying the stabilization, and once i save the video and open it from gallery it's not stabilized anymore.
Could someone test this pls?
Okay, so I'm not the only one. I'm also facing this problem. 4K 60fps is smooth as heck while 1080p 60fps is trash. And sadly I use only 1080p 60fps. Sad for me. Hopefully Samsung will fix this issue. If you find any fix please do let us know.

There is a temporary fix. In camera settings, turn the "auto FPS" option ON. This solves the 1080p60 stabilization issue.
Please report this issue on samsung members app, i already did and sent a sample of the video.

Yeah enabling Auto FPS does seem to fix the problem. Let's see if the new march update will have this bug fixed or not

Facing the same issue with the 60FPS on 1080p with Auto FPS being off. The video being very shaky. Tested it on 2 different S23U owned by friends and got the same result so I believe its a software issue affecting everyone.

Got the March update which does not fix this issue

Have you tried a different camera app?

Sad to know that the march update doesn't fix this. I haven't tried any other camera app.
BTW, I have S23+ and not S23U

Too bright and over highlight has always been my issue with Samsung cam....kinda interesting to find complaint that its underexposed or not enough light ._.

I just found a bug in the latest firmware WC8. While shooting 1x 'photo mode' on a very dark scene, if you touch-focus on a part you want to focus, instead of it getting focused, the whole scene gets out of focus. To get it to focus, just aim and shoot, just never touch focus any part of the scene. I have some old shots of the same scene before I upgraded and it always focused. I did not notice this before upgrading and always do touch focus ever since. This is very reproducible. FYI: the scene's brightness is always constant since it's at the same spot with partially lit area around it from a street light. This only happens on a dark scene.

Kindly please can anyone confirm this bug? or I just had a lemon.

During a photoshoot this weekend I decided to try the phone 10x and it did pretty good. Much better than my previous attempt with the 22 Ultra

After taking hundreds of pictures in the last 10 days since I got the phone the conclusion is that the Pixel 7 Pro is still the king for point-and-shoot. I still have my P7 Pro and have been comparing them in multiple scenarios. The auto mode for the Ultra is an absolute mess and I am surprised not many reviewers mention that. The pictures are overexposed, oversharpened, and oversaturated. And before anyone asks, yes I did switch off the scene optimiser and installed the camera settings from the Samsung Appstore but I could not find any setting that improves things.

If you set the auto camera to 50MP and you have a sunny day then yes the auto will be good or at least decent most of the time but that is also the case for phones costing 3x less than the Ultra. The best and easiest way for me to take good pictures is to use the Expert Raw camera set on 50 MP and everything else on auto. The annoying thing is that when setting the quick action of double pressing the power button to open the Expert Raw camera I need to unlock the phone first, it won't open the camera as it does with the standard camera app. Does anyone know a setting that can change this?

I hope Samsung will provide a software update soon as I still prefer to use my smartphone camera as a point-and-shoot and not have to fiddle with the settings too much.

The difference between quality vs. speed priority (to be set in the Camera Assistant) is huge
    Here a 1:1 comparison for 200MP
Not only on the details level also the colors are affected by changing this single parameter
