Galaxy S3 running Lineage 14.1 fails SafetyNet and Magisk Hide Errors

So basic summary is this

Galaxy S3 i9300 running Lineage 14.1 aka Android 7.1.2
Kernel 3.0.101-
I cleared and unrooted before doing anthing Safetynet passed

Safetynet fails now both for ctsProfile and basicIntregrity show as false

Magiskhide also fails as it doesn't save any settings

any help to resolve this

plan on using the phone for Sony Framework and Remote Play its a spare phone so nothing to backup etc

My assumption based on novice search is that is something to do with the Kernel

if so , any help with fixing this

One of the requirements for MagiskHide to work is mount namespace support, that was introduced in Linux kernel 3.8.

so i Fixed the issues thanks to the awesome Didgeridoohan confirming the problem

flashed this kernel and everything worked
