So guys the safest way to install recovery is downloading the .img file from twrp and flashing it with flashify . It worked the first time I did it and installing xposed was super easy . Also making the SuperSU app /system app is helpful for detecting root easily
I have not found CM11 for GT-I9192I to work on my GT-I9195I
Having Installed CWM 6.0.5.1 for GT-I9195I serranovelte, the newer Kernel and attempted to install CM11 for GT I9192I, my device throws its little digital fingers up in horror and says "No Way" FAIL( in Red letters!!).:crying::crying::crying:.
What am I doing Wrong?
Did you unzip the file and install it as a backup. (Don't flash it, it won't work then). If you tried that, then try not changing the kernel.
No, I Hadn't done that. I just tried to " Install " it.
Now with your help , CM11 is running on my GT-I9195I Galaxy S4 Mini Plus ( Serranovelte ).

It works well.
Data, wifi, Bluetooth, playstore etc are AOK.
The other Kernels mentioned elsewhere are not useable as WIFI does not work when they were installed..
Since this version is only purported to be 3g, ( by the ending 3gxx), My phone accepts "4g", in Data mode, for my simcard( 3 ) in Slot 1.

I have found the SIM card to work well. The device picks it up in slot 1 of 2. I found that, when trying to access "Google Play" the message box -" authorization required. Please sign in to Google account" comes up. If it does this, I have found that, if you go to the quick settings panel, and see that the signal strength icon shows white or has a cross against it, then "Data" is NOT available. However if you tap the signal strength icon several times until the icon changes colour from white to an orangey brown colour, then you know that you have "Data" back with you., and can use Google play etc, again.

Its very good to have cm11 in our phone but i have some problems if someone can help me.
1st The usb mass storage or mtp or ptp dont work at all, i tried samsung kies, samsung usb drivers and to install via internet but nothing
2nd About the keyboard i cant write by swiping on it, i tried checking/unchecking it in options but nothing. It just rolls over the letters without writing at all.

As I said, CM11 is a work in progress.
!st Tested and agree Mass storage etc does not seem to work.

2nd also not working . Solution to this is to load and activate another keyboard like "Swiftkey" and set that up. This solution worked for me.
I spoke with man who is able to make cm11, 12,13 from 4 pda.ru forum, his nick @ devil93, but he need such phone i9195i to make this roms
Suggest that, if your contact is able to make CM 12 and CM 13 for gt-i9192i then once he has done that the he makes a backup file of that build through CWM and post the link on this forum.
as far as i know he made cm11 and now working on cm12 for i9192i but he doesn't have that phone, this is his friend's phone
Yeah, but if we did that then it'd not have LTE or NFC. I think a i9195i should be organized...

The Present edition of CM11 for GT-I9192I, when installed on the GT-I9195I, has LTE(4G) available on SIM1 ( 4G logo adds itself to the signal strength Icon ).
NFC not implemented in CM11 for this phone. Can't find it under Settings - More... , so that's what I assume.
Today evening will be the test version of cm11 exactly for i9195i. But this guy need the phone for tests. So, who is interested in cm11, 12,13 for i9195i, we need to gather money for the phone.
Where in the settings can i choose the LTE internet? Because i did a change in my sim to have 4G, but it never changed the logo.
If you have 4G up and running in your area for your network provider, then the logo 4G should show on the signal strength bar at the top RHS of screen.
