Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge Score a 3/10 Repair Rating
So it looks like neither of the new S7 phones are going to be very easy to repair. iFixit gave them a 3/10 rating. Ouch. Let's hope the durability is decent so we don't find ourselves elbow deep in a high tech version of "Operation".
They're both fairly similar in the steps needed to repair them. With almost identical insides, the teardown process is the same.
Samsung has also blocked development for these devices which is strange. Looks like they're headed in a direction that is anti-development and anti-repair.
