Galaxy S8 fingerprint scanner is a trash

Hi,
Does anyone know how could Samsung or its supplier produce such a bad fingerprint scanner that the S8 has? On cheaper phones like Xiaomi or Huawei the FP Sc is quick like hell and it is almost doesn’t metter how you place your finger on it. But in the case of an S8 it is not only in a bad position but it works so badly that in many times it unlocks the phone after the 5th try or so. What do you think? Is this the fault of the software or the sensor? Wasn’t that a shame to Samsung to release a phone like this? Or nobody cares if they get a gorgeous screen?

There's an easy fix for it, just don't use it

Exactly my thought! I had to put my finger 3 times on average to get it to work. sometimes it just vibrates and doesn't work. I know its not my finger being dirty or incorrectly positioned because it happens many many, many times in last 3/4 months.

Mine works fine too, unlocks at first try unless my finger is dirty, I have this phone for more than a year.

It is prone to scratch. Daily fine dust can easy put scratch on it during finger scan. Check yours for scratches.

yea it is true, i come from huawai p10 lite and was so fast, omg.. and now i have s8+ and fingerprint from my opinion its a trash. i have to put 2 3 times to work, and i will sell it becouse evry time i have to clean that stupid camera to make a photoooo oh samsung what are you doing to us
