Samsung case never really do protection. It only beauty since S6 time.

Sorry to your lost but congratulate you success selling it half price, this is a very lucky case as seldom people will buy it even half price.

That's why I don't use a case. People drop it with a case and still break it. :p

And why would you sell it for half the price and not have any insurance on it?

just hold your phone... use your hands to grip the device.... be aware of situations where your phone could fall. it isnt that hard. use the brain and the claws. i've been a samsung owner since s1. never dropped any of them nor broke them... because im aware of what im doing and how im holding the phone... you dont need protections this way. think about it... literally

Cracked the front screen as well. Dual sim version. I do have a spigen (hybrid case?) since the phone is brand new and the phone did get a few nice drops but nothing major.

I did not drop the phone at all the day this happened and I was actually using the phone for a while and the screen just cracked out of no where.

I always drop my phones quite a bit and never had an issue like this before. The screen on this phone is definately a lot weaker than it is normally on other phones (gorilla glass 5 my a....).

So annoying for such an expensive and beautiful phone. I cannot even find how much it'll cost to get it fixed online.

If you'd dropped it previously, you probably brought it right to the verge of cracking. When it finally did so, it was a delayed reaction to the earlier fall(s).

Yeah, that's inadvisable.

Still a mobile device that will get dropped from time to time. And as I mentioned I used a pretty good case with it.

Does anyone know how much it'll cost for a screen replacement? I am talking about the galaxy s8+

It's not inevitable for a phone to "get dropped from time to time". If they do, they often break, even with a case. For those who can't keep from dropping their phones, I would recommend against getting an S8+.

I've seen it quoted that repairing an S8+ screen costs about $250.

I bought on 24.04 a Galaxy s8 plus midnight black and a led cover for it after exactly 18 hrs i dropped the phone and it litterally "jumped" from the case when touching the ground and the screen got broken so i don't recommend led cover as a protection i will attach a few pictures of it
(I dropped from half a meter)
Btw i sold the phone for half price and today i will buy another one
Its not really noticable you should have kept it...

I have dropped my phone as well it was in a case with a tempered glass screen protector.....lucky for me the screen protector shattered and not the actual screen.

But it the drop landed semi on the edge of the screen where the case doesn't give much cover.

Man cracks and stuff make my OCD go insane. I'm sorry for the damage. I wonder if a Whitedome glass protector will help at all minimize the damage and viewing of it.

I had a case on, and I have this small small small (were talking micro) dent in my screen that the only way I can see it at all is without the dome protector, and if sun is shining on my screen at a certain angle.

You guys wanna know something funny? My phone fell out of my hands as I was pulling it out of my pocket and fell straight flat on the screen. I picked it up and the glass wasn't broken. Everything was fine except a group of green pixels were stuck on the screen.

It's been three days and the pixels are still stuck. I'm going to get the screen replaced for around $260. I was going to get the screen replaced because it has the dreaded red/pink tint around the edges, so this kind of expedites the need to replace the screen. I have no screen protector and am using samsung's silicon case.
