How strange. I haven't seen that in any of the 3 factory resets I've done so far. That is one that I empathize with you about.

Where are the display mode settings?
I tried settings>Display but see no option.

For some reason while im on wifi at home my phone will tell me I've lost data connectivity .. Weirdest thing. Just started happening today. Anyone experience something similar?

Havent been with Samsung since sph-a460 and sph-n400
I hate hate hate touch wiz, So i got a GS3 which is only 1 day old but I have to admit touchwiz sucks major touch azz, the phone is nice tho but I do miss sense and this GS3 feels plasticy but it has to grow on me. Its too thin and too light. I Like phones with weight and a good feel some may say they like those features but Im use to HTC build feel. So now im with the dark side SAMSUNG but I just wish I could have sense with this phone asap. I rather have stock google than touch azz. But I will never complain about sense again and its laggyness but I dont miss it enough to go to the evo4lte. I need a break from htc but I dont know how long its going to be. I hope the new note competitor they are building is nice. Dont want to end on a down note the GS3 is a good phon,e I just got to get used to it.

Number 3 you can fix by going into settings/display/touch key light duration.

A friend bitched all day yesterday that he prefers Sense.....yet he always used either Launcher Pro or Go Launcher all the time. Couldn't have liked it that much

Is anyone having issues with the outbound call quality? My friend called me last night from his new SGS3 (partially to rub it in he got his) and he sounded pretty muffled. Possible he could have been on speaker phone but I didn't ask.
Personally the screen is too dim for me in the sunlight. Other than that the phone is top notch.
Mostly the idea is things that can be fixed that the complainer is just missing. There are some things that are of the sort where the answer is, "well... yeah?" But a lot of things posted are annoyances with workarounds/fixes.It's kind of funny reading all of the whining in this thread.

My major annoyance is that I don't own an GSIII yet. Got rid of my epic touch before the bottom fell out. Now I have a Samsung Conquer that is surprisingly good for a cheap phone sans the 3.5 inch low resolution screen. Lol

I felt the same. But I just use the back button, makes me feel like I'm actually exiting am app anyway. Only use the home button for recent apps.

Anybody else having a problem with the text message notification sound? the sound doesnt play the whole ring tone noise and just cuts off almost immediately after it starts, I thought it was from the mute/pause motion and it being in my case but i turned all of that off and it still does it even out the case....im using the default notification noise and havent rooted or nothing like that....kind of strange
Install nova or apex launcher. It will give you a semi ICS experience until custom roms. Come out. I hate touch wiz as well. Once the devs get CM9 and AOKP rolling youll love the phone. The devs kick ass.
