I just tried this app and I could not get it to work or show as mass storage.

So since it doesn't have mass storage, you can't mount internal and external storage?

Getting my phone next week, but I'm curious about this. Never had a phone where it didn't show mass storage.

My biggest annoyance can be the loading time of some apps. Tapatalk being one of them. It crawls compared to my GSII. Also YouTube loads and plays video slower. One last thing would be the slight in the home screen transitions.

Two that I haven't solved:

1) Facebook has filled my contact list with a huge number of people I don't care about, seems to have ignored the "only sync with existing contacts". Removing facebook users is a process: hold on the user, press delete, confirm that it isn't actually deleting.
I don't have my sgs3 yet so I can't confirm this myself but with Motoblur, it wants you to sync FB with the launcher. In doing so, you just mashed all of your FB "friends" with your contact list. My solution has always been to unsync FB.

I'm on an AT&T SGSIII and I've found that a direct dial shortcut seems to do absolutely nothing when you try to use it - any advice on making this work or is it just me?
Are you trying this from a text message thread? It seems that this may be the only place that it works from.

An annoyance is that the "back" button is on the right side of the phone. Because of the placement in internet browsers, we are used to the back button being on the left side. Google puts the back button on the left on the Galaxy Nexus (ironically, a Samsung device). The Note puts it second from the right. HTC puts the back button on the left. I know that manufacturers try to be unique, but consistency here would be appreciated.

A bug that I'm experiencing is that S-Voice force closes if you try to initiate a BT call via voice from the phone's sleep state. This makes voice dialing over BT impossible.

Love the phone, but thus far only two things are irritating me:

1.) Auto-brightness leans toward the dark side... there's a joke in there, help yourself.

2.) It annoys the heck out of me that the screen comes on for a second or two every time I get a text message. I liked making fun of iPhone users when this happens as they don't have an LED indicator, but *I* do - why turn on the screen when nothing else but SMS does?? Give me the option at least, geez.

Otherwise, I'm beside myself with the joy this phone brings. :)

I think Samsung has always placed Back on the right-hand side of the Galaxy phones (2nd-from-right on the U.S. variants with a Search button). That's definitely where my thumb is used to finding it, anyway! :)

2) On Tmobile it doesnt light upthe screen...just the blue notification light comes on

No, not from text message, but from voice direct dial.

I think I have it figured out - it's the launcher's fault. I loaded up ADW early on. When I try TW, it seems to work just fine.

Have they fixed -officially- the battery drain issue, where 34ma was entered instead of 3.4?
And what's with the screen waking up when receiving a text message? No option to disable this?

I'm also interested in whether or not the backlights bleed through like they did on the white galaxy s 2(e4gt).
Might get the verizon gs3 over my gnex but...anyone know anything but an official Sammy 4.1 JB?
Thanks.
