I won't be happy until I see a Wifi model with a pretty micro SD slot on it. Not expecting it'll happen, but it'll completely convince me to get the GT if it does.

:(

I don't understand a word, but by using google translate I see that, for example, they talk about SD but no USB. But they are talking about a unit presented in an expo (Mobile Word Congress) that I think took place in february...

Maybe that unit is the production one, different from the one given away at the I/O, or maybe that unit was just a prototype, and afterwards they removed the SD...

Thanks for the link.

Regards.

Galaxy Tab SD?

Look at this review. When he shows the top I see a Micro SD slot? And a SIM slot to the right of that.

The is the pre annoucement of galaxy tab 10.1 and s2 in thailand on April 24, 2011 no micro sd slot for 3g ver and from the spec it does say support of micro sd thru a connector.

At Thailand Mobile expo which just pass June 2-5, 2011 of all the 10+ demo unit on the floor only 1 galaxy 10.1 has the micro sd slot (all 3g ver) but the employee taped the slot out. So I ask the employee and no one can really tell if the retail unit will have micro sd or not. They only say from the spec samsung gave them its pretty much without the micro sd slot. And from the look this look more of like a production unit since the button part of the tab is more nicely seal (the 2 knots between the 30 pin port). http://www.tabletd.com/uploads/421327560907230_0.jpg

I hope, I and the employee is wrong about the micro sd. :(
Anyhow I preorder it since the first 300 person that preorder will get galaxy S wifi 4" free.

This is the only unit that have the micro sd but taped out for unknown reason????

I thing samsung did the right thing by getting rid of all the ports that add bulk and weight. Its a tablet not a laptop or netbook, and if consumers want that stuff then the will buy them. Apple has proven that simplicity is key to having a successful tablet.

apple has only proven that people are sheep and are easily brainwashed. as someone from this forum said, they are the empire vs. us rebels.

You're right adding a microsd slot will put tooo much weight on the tablet.....
