I was looking for a decent case for my tablet a while back and picked up the belkin flip case in leather for the tab. I honestly have no complaints other than over time the flap which keeps the tablet tucked in gets flimsy and the tab tends to want to slide out. This doesn't allow for a "perfect" fit after a while.
Now looking for a more reliable case but it appears the oem book case from Samsung is my best bet. Looking to pick one up in black real soon. Anyone have any significant complaints about this case in terms of fit and longevity / durability?

I have one in black.
It looks great, very tough, and the flap has not degraded with time.
The BIGGEST Negative for the case is its weight. It adds WAY too much weight to the otherwise light 8.9 SGT. Fit is fine. A great case otherwise.
oh also;
Im beginning to not like this case more...
It looks and feels great when its closed.
To me, it feels like its upside down to a degree...
The flap, when case is open should be on the top of the device where the camera lens is.
a) because the tablet is the right way around like that (speakers down)
b) the light sensor is not disturbed with your hands going across it when in use.
c) the same applies in the typing position too. Nice angle, and also sturdy. But light sensor is interrupted.
one corner is not protected
MIght keep it though
