Yeah I don't really care about stock decryption. It'll work everywhere else. No, just making a suggestion. They could help with the decryption
This guide is a work-in-progress and is based on the following PewPewK post.
Which, in turn, was inspired by TopJohnWu's 'Samsung (System-as-root)' Magisk Installation Guide
It is an extended companion piece aimed at ALL users and meant specifically for the SM-T720 (Tab S5e).
ROOT WARNING
Introducing root and further tampering may potentially lead to unfavorable performance and/or shortened device lifespan.
In extreme circumstances, it may render your device OR specific hardware components unstable or non-functioning.
By following this guide, you ACKNOWLEDGE these risks and release AHE_XDA, XDA and its CONTRIBUTORS of ANY and ALL responsibility.
WARRANTY WARNING
In many states, countries and territories, introducing root voids device warranty (manufacturer's and/or third-party). Please consult your regional Samsung office, place of purchase or third-party warranty company to determine if these terms are applicable to you.
ALTERNATIVES TO ROOT
If you are looking to maintain your warranty and access to some Samsung-specific features, consider disabling or uninstalling unwanted applications via the Android Debugging Bridge (ADB).
TiTiB, a genius in his own right, has a thread dedicated to the Tab S5e and bloat removal without the cost of warranty.
Visit it HERE and give him 'Thanks!' if it helped.
Does this have a recovery partition? Or is recovery in the boot partition?
Working on a TWRP solution currently.Hopefully someone can figure this out. Root is nice, but twrp would be nicer.
Yes! @XHE_XDA put a LOT of time and effort in to making root accessible for anyone who wants it. Many, many thanks for that. And @LuK1337 took us all the way to the promised-land! Very appreciative of their works, without which I would not have complete ownership of my tablet.I would like to thank the OP here for root, and Luk for TWRP recovery.
Looking forward to the release on lineage. Can't wait to dump Samsung fw.

Well not exactly, I was lucky that I read @LuK1337 post better then the rest here and noticed what was coming up by a dev I knew from previous tablets, just jumped in the wild and wanted to test twrp, then the fun started. You're right on top of things!
The link I posted earlier is outdated now that you can just download TWRP from the official website.Read a few pages back, @LuK1337 posted them uhh just 2 pages

Great news. Now, I have the SM-T725 LTE version of this tablet, not the wifi-only version SM-T720. Can you tell me if the official TWRP version for gts4lvwifi will also work with the T725 or if I need to wait until an LTE version is available? Thank you.The link I posted earlier is outdated now that you can just download TWRP from the official website.
