Had the same expierence after changing CSC around here. Overall I have to say that tue BP feature is rather weak and very inaccurate despite calibrating and stuff. I am measuring with a 'proper' cuff ajd the watch several times a day and the results from the watch are usually all over the place.
I will happily take the BTH* update once it comes here. Maybe I will also change CSC again to Korea (KOO) as SPay is of no concern here (DBT) at the moment.

I have US model 45mm LTE variant. I had sideloaded the 1.1.0.159 health software and had everything working. O², EKG, and Blood pressure. Only issue I had was the app keep asking to be updated. Now I mistakenly took the firmware update on my watch which enabled O² and EKG here in US and now I lost the BP feature, and won't allow me to reinstall the one I originally sideloaded. Is there a solution to get around this or am I stuck without the BP now till it gets approved here?

just like you, we all had side loaded the apop and got those features, but one we all updated to the latest tizen update, we lost BP, just as you did.

im not good at "flashing" phones/watches, but maybe if the watch can be flashed with the prior OS then it would beg to reason one can then reinstall the side load.
i even tried to SDB the app to the watch and got an error.

someone much smarter than I can chime in and state if thats possible or not.

There's most likely people looking into it. No solutions yet though

if you updated to the latest tizen firmware, it auto installs the app. im not the only one this happen to.

dont be passive aggressive with me on forums mate.

I wouldn't waste time being "passive aggressive" .. I would just say you were wrong / a tool. But I didn't I was making a comment (more of a joke) that it doesn't work on non-Samsung phones and I stand by that fact. You can flash firmware and do all these work arounds, but the fact is Samsung has confirmed that [as of now at least] it does not work on non-Samsung phones. The average user will not have the know how / time / patience to do all these hacks/tricks so to the mass majority, it doesn't work. Plus, just like the last "trick" they can close that up any time that want and it will be broken again.

Anyway, we'll just chalk it up to a misunderstanding. :highfive:

I can't even get the app to sideload to the watch. I have US model 45mm BT only. You didn't have a failure to install tpk?

the latest tizen update installs the health monitor so this hack trick we've all used prior will no longer work.

Correct. I updated the latest modified apk with no issue. But when I took the Tizen update I lost BPM.

I had decided to roll the dice on the update hoping the update would improve the SPo2 reading, but it might be even worse! So I'd recommend not taking the update to anyone wanting to keep BPM.

How are the notifications? Is it easy to interact?

Would you recommend it over wearos?

I don't do notifications on my watch.

There's no WearOS watch nearly on par, hardware-wise. It has about 2GB more usable storage, and you can download Spotify playlists for offline use which I'm not sure you can do on WearOS.

I haven't found any fitness apps that will display my heart rate on my phone/tablet when I'm on a cycle or treadmill. I think that can be done with WearOS. The best [only?] weighlifting app for a watch is Progression, which may eventually come to Tizen but probably not for at least 12-18 months it seems.

Almost deal-breaker for me was Sammie limits the always on display to 15% brightness, which for many watchfaces isn't satisfactory. I found a decent workaround that I'm happy with, but that's mainly because outside of fitness tracking I mainly use my smartwatch as a watch (like I said, I don't do notifications, messaging or calls)

Is there a way to delete or diable pre-installed SHM app off watch? Then maybe we can reinstall the modified apk to gain BP again.
Or maybe flash the previous firmware to the watch.
