The watch stopped displaying the map at the end of the workout!! Reset did not help!
I start the workout, the green GPS icon flashes on top, at the end of the workout it no longer displays the route and map !! At the same time, the Google Maps application finds the location in 2-3 seconds !!

I turned on the workout in Google Fit, the map shows and draws the route !! So the problem is in the Samsung Health app on the watch ...

Same here in UK. Compass finds location, maps find location. Samsung health used to work fine, now unable to track a walked route... Disappointing

The problem is with the internal gps connection of the watch
The Google Fit app uses the phone's GPS
Few people have noticed this problem and Samsung has cleverly avoided fixing it

Weird, but worked for me>>>
removed original straps from watch
cleaned watch dial
powered off and heated up with hair dryer
powered on in outdoor
and voila!! GPS fixed. i have tracked cycling, running working fine now!
also i have changed straps locations (means, swapped upper and bottom straps)
